Mit meinem Abschluss zur ZFA 2003 begann der Einstieg in meinen absoluten Traumjob, seit dem führe ich eine durchgängige Praxistätigkeit, unter anderem in Schwerpunktpraxen auf Parodontologie, Implantologie und CMD. Ich sammelte sehr viel Praxiserfahrung und besuchte Zahnärztetage und Fortbildungen. 2015 absolvierte ich meine Aufstiegsfortbildung zur ZMP an der Uniklinik Leipzig und verfolgte mit großem Ehrgeiz im Anschluss 2019 meine Dentalhygienikerin Ausbildung an der Universität Witten Herdecke mit anschließender Bachelorarbeit. Seit 2016 arbeite ich nach dem evidenzbasierten 8 Schritte GBT Protokoll und wachse stetig mit neuen Herausforderungen.

Mir ist es vor allem wichtig meine Patienten minimal invasiv und maximal präventiv über eine lange solide Behandlung zu betreuen und dies gelingt mir jeden Tag aufs Neue - mit der GBT nahezu perfekt. Seit 2020 begleite ich an der LZKS viele Mitarbeiterkurse als Referentin und bin im Prüfungsausschuss für die Durchführung der ZMP aktiv.

2022 absolvierte ich meinen Betriebswirt der Zahnmedizin und begann meine Tätigkeit als GBT Trainerin in der SDA mit ganzem Herzen.

Jolene Pinder is a dental hygienist based at The Dental Health Spa in Brighton. She qualified as a dental hygienist in the Royal Navy in 2001. After leaving the military she has worked in various practices throughout the UK. Jolene has a special interest in behavioural change and she has used this to inspire and educate fellow dental professionals. She has been a Swiss dental academy trainer since 2013 and teaches in the UK on Guided biofilm therapy. She had articles published on tooth whitening, making hygiene treatment profitable and implant maintenance. Jolene is the Study club director for dental hygienists and therapists for the International team for implantology.

Pam has an impressive and progressive career in dentistry, spanning over four decades. She began her journey in the field as a dental assistant at the age of 16, a role she held for 16 years. In 2001, she became a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Her commitment to advanced preventative care led her to become licensed as an independent dental hygienist (IPDH) in Maine in 2010. This allowed her to practice in both private settings and her own solo preventive practice. In 2021, Pam established the Searsmont Oral Wellness Center, where she champions her unique approach to optimal preventative care. Her practice has flourished by incorporating cutting-edge technologies like microscopy, laser therapies, salivary diagnostics, and the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) compass. Patients appreciate her laid-back yet informative style, which educates them while delivering patient-focused care. Beyond her practice, Pam is a certified GBT trainer for EMS, a role that enables her to connect with other forward-thinking professionals across the United States. Schon während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnarzthelferin, die sie im Jahr 2000 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat, entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Nach ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) konnte sie über viele Jahre hinweg wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Während ihrer Tätigkeit in einer auf Parodontologie spezialisierten Praxis wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie ihre Expertise auf diesem Gebiet weiter vertiefen und die höchste Ausbildungsstufe erreichen möchte. Dies führte 2018 zum erfolgreichen Abschluss ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Dentalhygienikerin (DH). Ihr stetiger Wille zur Weiterentwicklung und regelmäßige Fortbildungen führten sie schließlich zur Guided Biofilm Therapie (GBT). Dieses Konzept überzeugte sie so sehr, dass sie ihre Begeisterung und ihr Wissen weitergeben wollte. Seit 2024 ist sie Teil der Swiss Dental Academy. Nel 2014 vince il Premio Cagidiaco indetto dalla Società Italiana di Parodontolgia (SIdP) con il miglior poster presentato da un Igienista Dentale. Nel 2014 diventa iTOP Teacher specializzandosi nelle tecniche di educazione igienica attraverso il metodo “Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis”.
