Janis Spiliadis is an international clinician with over 35 years experience practicing in Switzerland, Greece, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Janis received her degree in dental hygiene from Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach County Florida. In 2007 she obtained her independent hygiene certification allowing her to open her own practice in Switzerland, where she practiced for 25 years. Janis is also served as a member of the Straumann hygiene advisory board and is it KOL for several dental companies.Fluent in French Janis has presented worldwide on the effects of biofilm on systemic health.

Si dedica alla parodontologia, chirurgia orale, endodonzia, conservativa, odontoiatria pediatrica, allineatori ortodontici trasparenti e sbiancamento dentale.

Laureata nel 2018 a Madrid, lavora nel proprio studio di famiglia a Grosseto (Toscana).

Da Luglio 2019 a Febbraio 2020 ha frequentato IRCCS Galeazzi a Milano con Prof. T. Testori e Prof. F. Galli nel ruolo di frequentatrice attiva del Gruppo Implantare dove si è dedicata alla ricerca scientifica.

Nel Febbraio 2020 ha pubblicato la propria tesi di laurea dal titolo “Studio sperimentale in vitro con microscopio elettronico a scansione delle superfici dentali trattate con tre diverse polveri di Air-Polishing: risultati preliminari“ su la rivista Quintessenza.

Dal 2021 collabora nella clinica odontoiatrica del dott. Giano Ricci e nello studio dentistico del dott. Massimo Frosecchi come Parodontologa. Da Febbraio 2021 a Dicembre 2023 ha frequentato il Master Universitario di II livello a tempo pieno accreditato EFP dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze di Parodontologia e Implantologia Dentale con Prof. F. Cairo e Prof. L.Barbato con votazione di esame 110/110 ad Aprile 2024 e passato a Giugno 2024 l'esame dell'European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

Odontotecnico con diploma professionale presso Ospedale George Eastman a Roma, ho conseguito la laurea in Igiene Dentale con Lode e Master biennale in Medicine Naturali con Lode presso l’Università di Tor Vergata a Roma. Sono un libero professionista, opinion leader linea oralcare Forhans dal 2015, GBT Trainer dal 2019 e opinion leader Pola SDI sbiancamenti dal 2020. Ideatore del protocollo con Lattoferrina per il controllo delle recidive delle Black Stain.

Lisa Yao completed her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science Specializing in Dental Hygiene Degree from the University of Alberta in 2016, while working full time! Lisa has been a Dental Hygienist for over 12 years! Over the years, she has had additional training in periodontics, diode laser, and Guided Biofilm Therapy, completing her GBT Certification in 2022. Lisa enjoys serving the community and sharing her passion for dentistry while providing each patient with the utmost evidence-based care. Her priority is to provide high-quality dental care in a safe and comfortable environment, educating patients on how good oral hygiene is a significant part of their overall health

Binta Visser ist eine engagierte und erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich der Zahnmedizin, die seit 2020 die SDA mit ihrem fundierten Wissen und ihren Fähigkeiten unterstützt. Ihre Reise in die Welt der Zahnmedizin begann 2011, als sie während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten (ZFA) einen Kurs der SDA besuchte. Begeistert von den neuen Erkenntnissen und dem erlangten Wissen entschied sie sich, ebenfalls für die SDA tätig zu werden.

Nach dem Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung zur ZFA erweiterte Binta ihre Qualifikationen durch eine Weiterbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) und absolvierte anschließend den Bachelor-Studiengang in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Ihre umfassende Ausbildung und ihr Engagement für die Zahnmedizin machen sie zu einer wertvollen Ressource für Praxiskurse.

Binta hat in mehreren Zahnarztpraxen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, darunter Kinderzahnheilkunde, Ästhetik und Oralchirurgie, gearbeitet. Diese vielfältige Erfahrung ermöglicht es ihr, die Praxiskurse besonders kompetent zu betreuen und auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer einzugehen.

Ein besonderes Augenmerk legt Binta auf die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), die nicht nur evidenzbasiert und minimalinvasiv ist, sondern auch ein maximal präventives Behandlungskonzept ist. Diese Methode sorgt nicht nur für eine angenehmere Behandlung für die Patienten, sondern erleichtert auch den Behandlern die Arbeit, macht sie effektiver und bringt viel Freude mit sich.

Leonora Costello is a licensed dental hygienist, educator, and Master of Healthcare Administration candidate dedicated to advancing oral health through innovation, equity, and strategic collaboration. With both an associate and bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, she blends clinical expertise with a broader public health perspective to drive meaningful change in patient care and professional education. Leonora serves as a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer with EMS Dental, where she partners with clinicians and academic institutions nationwide to implement Guided Biofilm Therapy using the AirFlow Prophylaxis Master device. In addition to her training and consulting work, she provides clinical care at East Carolina University, working directly with underserved populations to reduce disparities and improve access to preventive services.  Currently pursuing her MHA, Leonora is focused on healthcare leadership, process innovation, and sustainable improvements in dental education. Whether she's leading hands-on workshops, mentoring future providers, or building institutional partnerships, she brings energy, empathy, and a commitment to collaborative growth.

Faye Donald is a registered dental hygienist currently practicing Guided Biofilm Therapy in the UK.

After graduating from Leeds University in 2001, she went on to complete the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. Faye received national award recognition in 2013 when she was crowned "Best Hygienist" at the DH&T National Industry Awards, in 2015 when she was crowned "UK’s Dental Hygienist of The Year" and in 2017 when she was again crowned winner of "UK's best hygienist" at the National Oral Health Awards. Faye is also chairperson for the North East BSDHT (British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy) where she is actively involved in supporting her peers and driving forwards standards within the dental industry. Faye underwent her training at the Swiss Dental Academy to become a certified SDA trainer in 2016 and has since delivered more than 50 GBT courses to audiences both nationally and internationally on the role of AIRFLOW® and Guided Biofilm Therapy in dental prophylaxis.

Christina Chatfield, a dental hygienist, is clinical director and owner of Dental Health Spa Ltd. which opened on the high street of Brighton in September 2007.

She has over 20 years experience in practice and has worked within major blue chip health companies. She qualified from Dundee in 1982 and moved to Brighton with her 3 children in 1994. Her experience within healthcare has enhanced both her clinical and continued academic learning, as well as building synergistic working relationships from all areas of the dental industry. Christina is passionate about empowering the patient and making dental hygiene treatments easily accessible for all.

Nina ist gelernte Zahnarzthelferin und hat sich im Laufe der letzten 25 Jahre ihrer Berufszugehörigkeit immer und gerne weitergebildet, durch ihre beiden Aufstiegsfortbildungen zur ZMF und dann weiter zur DH ist sie seit 2015 stolz ein Teil des Teams der Swiss Dental Academy zu sein und als GBT Coach ihr Wissen und ihre Behandlungserfahrungen rund um die Technologien AirFlow & Piezon No PAIN sowie das dazugehörige Behandlungskonzept der Guided Biofilm Therapie in Zahnarztpraxen, Dentaldepots und Universitäten weiterzugeben.
Zudem ist sie in einer Zahnarztpraxis als Dentalhygienikerin tätig. Nina unterstütz die SDA auch bei spezifischen Kundenanfragen, speziell rund um das Hygienemanagement und die Aufbereitung.

Laureata all’Università di Genova nel 2011 in Igiene dentale, sono stata Tutor clinico all’Istituto Stomatologico Toscano per 5 anni e oggi lavoro presso il mio studio ad Alghero.
