Mein Studium zur dipl. Dentalhygienikerin HF in Zürich, welches ich 2017 abgeschlossen habe, hat mir gezeigt, wie bedeutend wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der Zahnmedizin ist. Daher kommt auch mein Interesse evidenzbasiert zu arbeiten, Dinge zu hinterfragen und immer breit zu sein neue Wege zu gehen. Die GBT vereint all das, wonach ich immer gesucht habe. Ich erlebe täglich im Praxisalltag, wie viel orale Prävention bei Patienten wirklich bewirken kann. Daran stetig weiterzuarbeiten und gleichzeitig an diesem Erfolgen beteiligt zu sein ist ein großartiges Gefühl und treibt mich an.

Claire is proud to be one of the UK SDA training team and works in private practice in Leeds, carrying out Guided Biofilm Therapy on her own patients daily. Not only does she teach all things GBT on courses and in practice, she is also a key opinion leader and/or ambassador for well known dental brands, as well as writing numerous articles for industry/consumer press titles and public speaking. Dr. Saskia Deciu studierte Zahnmedizin in Wien und spezialisierte sich früh auf moderne kieferorthopädische Behandlungskonzepte. Erika Spring is a pioneering force in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) education, bringing over 35 years of dental industry experience and 27 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Since 2019, she served as an SDA Trainer and Academic Integration Consultant, currently she is the US GBT Education Manager. Spring's most significant achievement came at Coastal Carolina Community College, where she revolutionized dental hygiene education by integrating GBT into the curriculum. Under her leadership, the program graduated the first GBT-certified students in 2021 and became the first academic institution to achieve GBT certification in the United States in 2022—a historic milestone establishing the gold standard for modern dental hygiene education. Her academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She maintains faculty experience from Laramie County Community College and clinical expertise through work with GBT practices, East Carolina University, and expert periodontists. As a certified DISC Behavioral Consultant, she enhances team dynamics and educational outcomes. Spring continues advancing the GBT mission by leading the US training team, developing educational strategies, and mentoring dental professionals nationwide. Her mission centers on preparing tomorrow's dental professionals with today's innovations, fundamentally reshaping dental hygiene practice and elevating patient wellness standards across the profession.

Sarah Crow started in the dental industry in 2004. She has earned numerous awards throughout her education and career as a Dental Hygienist. To name a few, Sarah was voted the 2021 “Massachusetts Dental Society, Hygienist of the Year.” And was most recently voted the 2024 “Research Hygienist of The Year” by the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. Sarah is a recent Past-President, of The Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also a Senior Executive Consultant for Cellerant Consulting Group and a United States Trainer for The Swiss Dental Academy, in the field of Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS Dental. She presents educational content both virtually and in-person, to dental professionals across the country. Sarah enjoys working chairside with patients in Salem, MA where she is given the opportunity to exhibit her passion for helping others to improve their oral and overall health.

Patricia Blagic's journey in the dental field is a testament to her dedication and passion for oral health. Starting her career as a dental assistant, she quickly advanced to an expanded duties dental assistant after nine years, before pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Fueled by a strong commitment to combating periodontal disease and a desire to educate patients, Patricia has consistently pushed herself to excel. In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Recently, she completed the Koi's Hygiene Program, further solidifying her commitment to advancing dental hygiene practices. Patricia is not just a professional; she is a passionate advocate for the importance of dental hygiene, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.

Ho partecipato come relatrice a vari corsi sul mantenimento del paziente ortodontico, paziente implantare e come docente a contratto presso l’Università di Padova al corso di perfezionamento in Igiene implantare. 
Attualmente sono docente a contratto presso il Corso di Laurea in Igiene dentale Polo di Rovereto nella materia: gestione dell’igiene dentale professionale del paziente implantare.
