Soy odontóloga generalista y he trabajado en el campo dental desde el 2012 desempeñando roles que cubren toda la cadena de valor del servicio de salud dental: desde asistente en sillón, pasando por auxiliar en gabinete, atención al paciente, agente comercial, higienista y finalmente como dentista. Todo esto me ha permitido estar al día con los avances científicos y tecnológicos, a la vez que me ha dotado de una perspectiva global del funcionamiento de las clínicas dentales, lo que aporta dinamismo, profesionalidad y eficacia a mi trabajo.

Persigo el ideal de ejercer una odontología de alta calidad, y además, tengo profunda vocación para la enseñanza, por lo que me encantaría que ese ámbito formara parte del día a día en mi práctica profesional. Soy una apasionada de la periodoncia y la estética dental, y tengo muchas ganas de aprender y crecer.

Il mio percorso inizia nel novembre 2012, anno in cui mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova. Fin da subito sono rimasta all'interno della stessa nelle vesti di tutor e correlatrice di tesi in quanto adoro stare a contatto con gli studenti cercando di trasmettere la mia passione per la professione. Ho frequentato diversi corsi di parodontologia, branca che mi appassiona più di tutte e nel 2018 ho conseguito il Master di I livello in Patologia orale presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino. Dal 2021 faccio parte della grande famiglia EMS come GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy. 

Soy Estefanía Laguna, licenciada en Odontología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2007). Posteriormente, completé el Máster en Ciencias Odontológicas y el Máster en Periodoncia e Implantes en la misma universidad, finalizando mi formación de postgrado en 2013. Desde entonces, ejerzo como periodoncista exclusiva, acompañando a mis pacientes en todas las fases del tratamiento, desde la terapia inicial hasta la colocación de implantes cuando es necesario. Mi enfoque se basa en una atención personalizada, rigurosa y comprometida con la salud periodontal a largo plazo. Además, compagino mi actividad clínica con la docencia, colaborando activamente en el postgrado de Periodoncia e Implantes de la Universidad Complutense, la Institución Mississippi y la Sociedad Española de Periodoncia, donde participo de forma continua en programas académicos y actividades científicas.

Sarah Crow started in the dental industry in 2004. She has earned numerous awards throughout her education and career as a Dental Hygienist. To name a few, Sarah was voted the 2021 “Massachusetts Dental Society, Hygienist of the Year.” And was most recently voted the 2024 “Research Hygienist of The Year” by the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. Sarah is a recent Past-President, of The Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also a Senior Executive Consultant for Cellerant Consulting Group and a United States Trainer for The Swiss Dental Academy, in the field of Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS Dental. She presents educational content both virtually and in-person, to dental professionals across the country. Sarah enjoys working chairside with patients in Salem, MA where she is given the opportunity to exhibit her passion for helping others to improve their oral and overall health.

Leslie Ramsey, RDH, is a passionate and experienced dental hygienist with a strong commitment to advancing clinical excellence and patient care through education. As a GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) Education Specialist and lead of the United States Success Coaches, Leslie brings deep expertise in preventive dentistry, biofilm management, and minimally invasive hygiene protocols. With nearly 8,000 GBT treatments with her own patients in clinical practice, Leslie has consistently prioritized patient-centered care and the integration of evidence-based techniques. Her work as an educator and speaker focuses on empowering dental professionals with the tools and knowledge to implement GBT protocols effectively, enhance patient outcomes, and elevate the standard of care. Leslie is known for her engaging teaching style, practical insights, and dedication to fostering professional growth within the dental community. She is proud to be part of a global movement that’s transforming how we think about prevention, periodontal health, and the patient experience.

Erika Spring is a pioneering force in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) education, bringing over 35 years of dental industry experience and 27 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Since 2019, she served as an SDA Trainer and Academic Integration Consultant, currently she is the US GBT Education Manager. Spring's most significant achievement came at Coastal Carolina Community College, where she revolutionized dental hygiene education by integrating GBT into the curriculum. Under her leadership, the program graduated the first GBT-certified students in 2021 and became the first academic institution to achieve GBT certification in the United States in 2022—a historic milestone establishing the gold standard for modern dental hygiene education. Her academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She maintains faculty experience from Laramie County Community College and clinical expertise through work with GBT practices, East Carolina University, and expert periodontists. As a certified DISC Behavioral Consultant, she enhances team dynamics and educational outcomes. Spring continues advancing the GBT mission by leading the US training team, developing educational strategies, and mentoring dental professionals nationwide.
