She has over 20 years experience in practice and has worked within major blue chip health companies. She qualified from Dundee in 1982 and moved to Brighton with her 3 children in 1994. Her experience within healthcare has enhanced both her clinical and continued academic learning, as well as building synergistic working relationships from all areas of the dental industry. Christina is passionate about empowering the patient and making dental hygiene treatments easily accessible for all.

Laureata all’Università di Genova nel 2011 in Igiene dentale, sono stata Tutor clinico all’Istituto Stomatologico Toscano per 5 anni e oggi lavoro presso il mio studio ad Alghero.

During her career Sally has taught undergraduates and worked as a staff member at King’s College London and the University of Manchester. Over the past 25 years she has worked in NHS Community Clinics, General and Specialist Implant and Periodontal Practices. Sally is past president of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) and is Chair of the BSDHT North West Regional Group. She has lectured throughout the UK and Europe to peer group and the wider profession. Sally is a Key Opinion Leader to several leading companies within the Industry and also quality assures dental education. Sally is a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer. In 2013 and 2014 she was made an Ambassador by the ‘Heart Your Smile’ Charity for ‘Changing the public’s perception of dentistry and encouraging better oral health across the UK’. Sally has spent time in Africa and the Lesvos Refugee Camps providing emergency dental relief and continue to raise money for Dentaid through BSDHT.

Djekic, Bozana M.Sc., B.Sc. ist eine engagierte Dentalhygieniekerin und begeisterte GBT- Trainerin aus Österreich. Im Jahr 2003 schloss sie in Graz ihr Diplom in Parodontologie und Prophylaxe ab. Um ihre Fachkenntnisse zu vertiefen, absolvierte sie einen Universitätslehrgang in Köln und erwarb den Bachelor in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Zusätzlich erweiterte sie ihr Wissen mit einem Masterstudium in Health Care Management, spezialisiert auf Pharma Management. Als engagierte Dentalhygienikerin entdeckte sie ihre Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Ihr Fokus liegt besonders darauf, den Vorteil der GBT mit Liebe und Humor zu vermitteln. Es ist ihr ein großes Anliegen, die GBT-Therapie in Österreich zu etablieren. Ihre Leidenschaft ist es, als Trainerin tätig zu sein, die GBT in wissenschaftlichen Projekten und an Universitäten zu lehren sowie in der Ausbildung von Dentalhygieniker*innen  zu vermitteln. Sie schätzt den Austausch mit Menschen, die ebenso Freude und Enthusiasmus für Innovationen teilen.

Claudia hat sich nach ihrem Abschluss zur Dentalhygienikerin HF im Jahr 1997 kontinuierlich weitergebildet (Ausbildung Terminalanästhesie, dipl. med. Praxisleiterin und viele mehr). Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt der Wissensvermittlung in der Prophylaxe, einem Bereich, den sie als äußerst wichtig erachtet. Sie verfolgt die Entwicklung neuer Techniken und Methoden, um ihre Kenntnisse stets auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten und andere Fachkräfte in diesem Bereich zu inspirieren.

Seit 2017 ist Claudia eine begeisterte Anwenderin der Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), einem evidenzbasierten 8 Schritte GBT Behandlungs Protokoll. Ihre Leidenschaft für diese Technik hat sie dazu motiviert, als Trainerin für die SDA zu arbeiten. Als Trainerin gibt sie ihr umfangreiches und langjähriges Wissen mit viel Engagement und Begeisterung an die Anwender der GBT weiter. Claudia legt großen Wert darauf, dass die Teilnehmer nicht nur theoretische Kenntnisse erwerben, sondern auch praktische Fähigkeiten entwickeln, um die GBT effektiv in ihrer täglichen Arbeit anzuwenden.

Im Jahr 2023 hat Claudia den Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit gewagt und eine Firma übernommen, die ein breites Spektrum an Fort- und Weiterbildungen im dentalen Bereich anbietet. Mit ihrer Erfahrung und ihrem Fachwissen möchte sie anderen Fachleuten in der Zahnmedizin helfen, ihre Fähigkeiten zu verbessern und die neuesten Entwicklungen in der Prophylaxe zu integrieren. Claudias Ziel ist es, die Qualität der dentalen Prophylaxe in der Schweiz zu erhöhen und die Bedeutung einer umfassenden Weiterbildung zu fördern.

Karine earned her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2010. After practicing in Switzerland for a year, she returned to settle in Estrie, where she grew up. Jovial and enthusiastic, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning to develop her skills. Passionate about her profession, she focuses on gentle and non-invasive treatments, which is how she discovered the Guided Biofilm Therapy Protocol. After four years of practice with the Airflow Prophylaxis Master, she can no longer do without it. Now a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy for over two years, Karine can share her passion for dental health and her growing love for GBT with other colleagues.

Ho conseguito la laurea in Igiene Dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Roma La Sapienza (2018). Nel 2021 ho concluso il corso di laurea in Scienze Tecniche Assistenziali.
Dal 2019 collaboro a Roma in uno studio dentistico specializzato in Orto-Perio. Nel 2022 sono diventata GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy.

My work with EMS and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) has reignited my passion for educating others and deepened my commitment to clinical excellence. I am driven by a love for continuous learning and strive to inspire fellow clinicians while advocating for innovative approaches to dental care.

Louise Warden is a highly accomplished dental hygienist based in Glasgow at the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry. She began her career in dentistry at the age of 17 as a dental nurse, later studying at Glasgow Dental School, where she graduated with distinction in 2004. In 2005, she received a Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for having the highest exam grades in the UK for dental hygiene.

Louise has extensive experience in various fields of dentistry and is also involved in teaching. She has been with the Scottish Centre since 2008 and is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health. Additionally, she is trained in facial aesthetics, offering treatments such as dermal fillers, lip enhancement, and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Louise is active in promoting Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), an innovative preventive dental treatment, and has been involved in international conferences related to this technique. She is an ambassador for the International Team for Implantology and is involved in training dental professionals in GBT.

Ho conseguito la laurea in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria di Varese nel 2013. Ho frequentato corsi Master in Parodontologia, Cariologia, Terapia non-chirurgica peri-implantare e Patologia orale.
Sono specializzato nel trattamento di casi parodontali complessi. Sono un SDA GBT Trainer da ottobre 2020. Dal 2013 ad oggi collaboro con lo Studio del Dott. Cesare Paris sia nell’attività clinica sia in quella di formazione.

Mi nombre es Erik Regidor y soy licenciado en Odontología y especialista en Periodoncia e Implantes por la Universidad del País Vasco. Desde entonces me dedico en exclusiva a Periodoncia e Implantes en PerioCentrum Bilbao. Adicionalmente participo en proyectos de investigación relacionados con mi campo dado que formo parte de los grupos de investigación Arrow Development y ThinkingPerio Research. Fruto de ello estoy actualmente realizando mi doctorado enfocado en el tratamiento quirúrgico de la peri-implantitis. Esto me ha llevado a participar en publicaciones científicas a nivel nacional e internacional dándome la oportunidad desde hace unos años a impartir cursos de formación. Entre otros, soy Trainer de EMS desde el año 2020 y tengo el honor de participar en proyectos de formación tanto para odontólogos como para higienistas.

Jolene Pinder is a dental hygienist based at The Dental Health Spa in Brighton. She qualified as a dental hygienist in the Royal Navy in 2001. After leaving the military she has worked in various practices throughout the UK. Jolene has a special interest in behavioural change and she has used this to inspire and educate fellow dental professionals. She has been a Swiss dental academy trainer since 2013 and teaches in the UK on Guided biofilm therapy. She had articles published on tooth whitening, making hygiene treatment profitable and implant maintenance. Jolene is the Study club director for dental hygienists and therapists for the International team for implantology.
