Amanda has a passion for dentistry and in 2008 became one of the first UK Swiss Academy Trainers for EMS. She has given many courses on Piezon technology, Biofilm management and Guided Biofilm therapy. (GBT). Amanda is the Immediate Past President of the British Association of Dental Therapists.

She became a hygienist in 1996 where she qualified from Manchester Dental school and then after spells in Specialist practice and the hospital service, taught Dental Hygiene at Sheffield dental school and then moved to Kings College Dental Institute in London.

Amanda has lectured nationally and internationally and talks on various topics. These include :- Behavioural change, Periodontal screening, Implant maintenance, fluoride varnish application for nurses, Impression taking, Biofilm theory/ GBT and Caries risk assessment.

Amanda completed and published research on the subject of Nursing Assistance for the Dental Hygienist in 2011. She completed a tutor’s conversion to Dental therapy in 2012 and became President elect of the British Association of Dental therapists in 2015.

She is an MSC student at King’s College London reading Advanced Minimal Intervention Dentistry.

Amanda presently works part time for Leicester Community dental services as a Therapist, treating anxious children and Special needs patients. She also works for Bupa Dental care in Stamford, Lincolnshire and lectures part time.

Amanda sits on the Bupa Dental Care Clinical advisory board and is a member of the BSDHT and BADT.

Theresa hat 2009 ihre Ausbildung zur ZFA abgeschlossen. Nach einigen Jahren in der Zahnärztlichen Assistenz und Abrechnung, legte sie die Weiterbildung zur ZMF ab. Seit 2012 ist Theresa als Hauptverantwortliche für den Bereich Prophylaxe in der Praxis tätig. Ihr war immer klar, dass sie noch mehr Verantwortung übernehmen und ihr Wissen im Bereich Prophylaxe und Parodontologie festigen möchte. Im Jahr 2019 begann Sie ihr Studium „Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement“, welches sie im Jahr 2021 mit dem Titel „Bachelor of Science Dentalhygiene“ abschloss. Den Höhepunkt ihrer Karriere bildet die Trainertätigkeit bei der SDA. Während des Studiums kam sie mit der Guided Biofilm Therapie® in Berührung, seitdem hat sie diese in ihrem Praxisalltag vollständig integriert. Die Faszination der GBT setzt sich für sie aus mehreren Faktoren zusammen. Die Individualität durch das Anfärben erleichtert die Kommunikation mit den Patienten. Was der Patient visuell wahrnimmt, kann er besser verstehen. Hinzu kommt die Wahrnehmung der Patienten, die die GBT als deutlich angenehmer empfinden als die Prophylaxesitzungen von „früher“. Zufriedene Patienten sind der Grundstein für einen erfolgreichen Recall.

Oberärztin an der Klinik für Kieferorthopädie des Universitätsklinikums RWTH Aachen und habilitierte 2024 zum Thema Prävention in der Kieferorthopädie. Sie engagiert sich in der Lehre, ist LAMA-zertifiziert und mehrfach wissenschaftlich ausgezeichnet. Als erfahrene Referentin mit Schwerpunkten in Alignertherapie, lingualer Kieferorthopädie und Mini-Implantaten ist sie regelmäßig auf nationalen und internationalen Fortbildungen präsent.

Anna studied at the Eastman Dental Hospital after working as a dental nurse, and graduated in 2015 from the Faculty of Royal College of Surgeons before completing a one year top up BSc (Hons) Oral Science at the University of Essex 2021.

Anna is a key opinion leader for Philips, Align Tech, Orascoptic, a global Guided Biofilm Therapy ambassador and Swiss Dental Academy trainer for EMS Dental. She is also a member and ambassador for the British Society of Hygiene and Therapy & British Society of Periodontics. Anna lectures and writes regularly for both industry and consumer press.

With over 15 years of experience as a registered dental hygienist and a transformative role as a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer, I am dedicated to advancing patient care and clinician education in dental hygiene. My work with EMS and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) has reignited my passion for educating others and deepened my commitment to clinical excellence. Laureato con Lode presso l’Università degli Studi di Padova (2015), nel 2020 ho conseguito il Master di I livello in Igiene Orale ad indirizzo Parodontale presso l’Istituto Stomatologico Toscano.
Sono revisore per la rivista scientifica “International Journal of Dental Hygiene”. Attualmente sto frequentando il Master of Science in Dental Hygiene presso la University College London e lavoro come libero professionista in provincia di Vicenza. 

Laureata con lode in Igiene Dentale nel 2019 presso l’Università di Napoli “Federico II”, dove ho poi proseguito gli studi conseguendo la Laurea Magistrale in Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche. Ho inoltre completato il mio percorso accademico con un Master Universitario di I livello in “Gestione della salute orale nel paziente parodontale e Special Needs”. Lavoro come libera professionista presso diversi studi odontoiatrici nelle province di Napoli e Caserta e, dal 2022, collaboro con EMS come GBT Trainer. Credo fortemente nel protocollo GBT, ogni paziente dovrebbe poter vivere un’esperienza positiva, innovativa e confortevole. Nei miei corsi unisco conoscenze scientifiche, tecnica e passione. Yemia White, BSDH, began her career in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant. Demonstrating an early passion for patient care—and encouraged by her employer-dentist to advance her education—she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University in 2004 With experience in both public and private healthcare settings, Yemia has provided care to patients representing a wide range of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She currently practices in a multidisciplinary setting specializing in periodontics and prosthodontics. In her role as a Professional Dental Hygienist, she is dedicated to preventing oral disease and delivering effective treatment when needed. Yemia considers the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocol essential to implant, periodontal, and preventive maintenance. Her strong understanding of the oral–systemic health connection continually motivates her to deliver the highest standard of care to her patients. She is a published author for RDH Magazine and a guest contributor to the blog series How Do You Speak Salivary Diagnostics? Her professional speaking engagements on preventive maintenance for full-arch, fixed implant dentistry include presentations for DentalXP and A Higher Learning, LLC. As a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer, she enjoys supporting dental practices as they adopt the GBT protocol as their standard of care.

Il mio percorso inizia nel novembre 2012, anno in cui mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova. Fin da subito sono rimasta all'interno della stessa nelle vesti di tutor e correlatrice di tesi in quanto adoro stare a contatto con gli studenti cercando di trasmettere la mia passione per la professione. Ho frequentato diversi corsi di parodontologia, branca che mi appassiona più di tutte e nel 2018 ho conseguito il Master di I livello in Patologia orale presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino. Dal 2021 faccio parte della grande famiglia EMS come GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy. 

Mi sono laureata nel 2015 in Igiene Dentale con votazione 110L presso L’Università Politecnica delle Marche. Nel 2016 ho partecipato al programma “Continuing Dental Education” - Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Department of Periodontology. Lavoro presso lo Studio Dentistico Dott. Alessandro Reale a Teramo, sono una GBT Trainer e opero come Tutor CdL in Igiene Dentale e Guida di Laboratorio del CdLM in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche Assistenziali presso Università Politecnica delle Marche.

Kayley trained at Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2006 alongside Kings College London students, attaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. After graduating, she moved to South London, working in two private dental practices, before returning home to Poole in June 2011. Kayley is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and keeps up to date with the latest research in dental hygiene care. Additionally, Kayley continues to grow her knowledge in Dental Implants by supporting the ADI Team Congress and EAO (European Association for Osseointegration) Congress. She loves working with paediatric patients and gently helping anxious patients through their treatment, taking a holistic approach and fundamentally placing the prevention of disease and individual care of patients above all else.
