Patricia Blagic's journey in the dental field is a testament to her dedication and passion for oral health. Starting her career as a dental assistant, she quickly advanced to an expanded duties dental assistant after nine years, before pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Fueled by a strong commitment to combating periodontal disease and a desire to educate patients, Patricia has consistently pushed herself to excel. In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Recently, she completed the Koi's Hygiene Program, further solidifying her commitment to advancing dental hygiene practices. Patricia is not just a professional; she is a passionate advocate for the importance of dental hygiene, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.

Mi sono laureata in Igiene dentale nel 2008 a Trieste. Da quel momento la passione per il lavoro mi ha portato a frequentare costantemente corsi di aggiornamento specifici, in particolare dedicati alle nuove tecnologie di cui sono appassionata. Nel 2021 ho partecipato al Corso di Perfezionamento in Leadership in medicina presso l’Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Roma. Lavoro in diversi studi odontoiatrici di Trieste con passione ed estrema cura per i pazienti.

Credo fortemente nella GBT come il miglior approccio nella terapia parodontale non chirurgica.

Binta Visser ist eine engagierte und erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich der Zahnmedizin, die seit 2020 die SDA mit ihrem fundierten Wissen und ihren Fähigkeiten unterstützt. Ihre Reise in die Welt der Zahnmedizin begann 2011, als sie während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten (ZFA) einen Kurs der SDA besuchte. Begeistert von den neuen Erkenntnissen und dem erlangten Wissen entschied sie sich, ebenfalls für die SDA tätig zu werden.

Nach dem Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung zur ZFA erweiterte Binta ihre Qualifikationen durch eine Weiterbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) und absolvierte anschließend den Bachelor-Studiengang in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Ihre umfassende Ausbildung und ihr Engagement für die Zahnmedizin machen sie zu einer wertvollen Ressource für Praxiskurse.

Binta hat in mehreren Zahnarztpraxen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, darunter Kinderzahnheilkunde, Ästhetik und Oralchirurgie, gearbeitet. Diese vielfältige Erfahrung ermöglicht es ihr, die Praxiskurse besonders kompetent zu betreuen und auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer einzugehen.

Ein besonderes Augenmerk legt Binta auf die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), die nicht nur evidenzbasiert und minimalinvasiv ist, sondern auch ein maximal präventives Behandlungskonzept ist. Diese Methode sorgt nicht nur für eine angenehmere Behandlung für die Patienten, sondern erleichtert auch den Behandlern die Arbeit, macht sie effektiver und bringt viel Freude mit sich.

Mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università di Verona nel 2018. Ho iniziato a collaborare presso lo studio odontoiatrico Albertini-Conci-Bertelle nel 2019, dove tutt’ora svolgo parte della mia attività lavorativa. Collaboro in qualità di libera professionista presso il Centro Dentale della Dott.ssa Francesca Manfrini dal 2013. Durante questi anni ho frequentato numerosi corsi e congressi.

Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Since June 2022, she has served as a U.S. SDA Trainer, and in June 2024, she expanded her role as a Success Coach. In addition to her coaching and training work, she provides dental hygiene services in nursing homes and volunteers her time with Mission of Mercy and her local food pantry, efforts that reflect her strong commitment to giving back and caring for her community. Today, she loves empowering clinicians to confidently implement GBT and helping dental teams grow through supportive, real-world training

Amanda has a passion for dentistry and in 2008 became one of the first UK Swiss Academy Trainers for EMS. She has given many courses on Piezon technology, Biofilm management and Guided Biofilm therapy. (GBT). Amanda is the Immediate Past President of the British Association of Dental Therapists.

She became a hygienist in 1996 where she qualified from Manchester Dental school and then after spells in Specialist practice and the hospital service, taught Dental Hygiene at Sheffield dental school and then moved to Kings College Dental Institute in London.

Amanda has lectured nationally and internationally and talks on various topics. These include :- Behavioural change, Periodontal screening, Implant maintenance, fluoride varnish application for nurses, Impression taking, Biofilm theory/ GBT and Caries risk assessment.

Amanda completed and published research on the subject of Nursing Assistance for the Dental Hygienist in 2011. She completed a tutor’s conversion to Dental therapy in 2012 and became President elect of the British Association of Dental therapists in 2015.

She is an MSC student at King’s College London reading Advanced Minimal Intervention Dentistry.

Amanda presently works part time for Leicester Community dental services as a Therapist, treating anxious children and Special needs patients. She also works for Bupa Dental care in Stamford, Lincolnshire and lectures part time.

Amanda sits on the Bupa Dental Care Clinical advisory board and is a member of the BSDHT and BADT.

Diplomata con lode in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli studi di Siena (1995) e laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli studi di Genova (2006), ho conseguito un master in Igiene Orale presso la Forsyth University di Boston (1996). Socio attivo SIdP da diversi anni e coordinatrice generale del progetto Study Club igienisti dentali (2018 e 2019). Sono libera professionista dal 1995 e collaboro presso lo studio del Dott. F. Cairo dal 2008.

Benjamin ist seit 2022 Mitglied des deutschen SDA Trainer Teams. Er hat seine Ausbildung zum ZFA im Jahr 2004 abgeschlossen und ist seit 2007 als Dentalhygieniker in verschiedenen Praxen tätig. Seitdem hat er sein Wissen durch zahlreiche Fortbildungen erweitert. Neben seiner Trainertätigkeit bei der SDA arbeitet er derzeit in zwei Praxen. Seine Schwerpunkte sind neben GBT, PAR und UPT auch das Praxismanagement sowie die Leitung der Prophylaxeabteilungen. Bereits früh entdeckte er die Freude und Begeisterung an der Vermittlung von Wissen in den Bereichen Prophylaxe und Mundhygiene gegenüber Patienten*innen und Kollegen*innen, aber auch bezüglich der Funktionsweise neuer Systeme – und Arbeitstechniken oder effektiver Praxisabläufe. Er versteht es, den richtigen Ton zu treffen und Inhalte spielerisch zu vermitteln. Sein oberstes Ziel ist die Prävention von oralen Erkrankungen und somit auch die Erhaltung der allgemeinen Gesundheit seiner Patient*innen. Dabei ist die GBT ein wesentlicher Bestandteil seiner täglichen Arbeit.

 

Benjamin ist hoch motiviert und versteht es, Wissensinhalte interessant und verständlich zu vermitteln und auf individuelle Fragen und Belange der Zuhörer*innen einzugehen.

Consegue il Master in Management delle professioni Sanitarie nel 2018 presso l’Università LUM School of Management. Nel 2019 consegue il Master in PNL e comunicazione in ambito sanitario. Tra il 2017 ed il 2023 segue corsi full immersion in parodontologia. Dedica da sempre la sua attività clinica alla gestione dei pazienti affetti da parodontite collaborando in maniera esclusiva con studi di Parodontologia ed implantologia. Relatrice presso corsi e congressi dal 2020 alla data odierna. Come seconda attività è Junior Account Manager presso una Software House con sede a Bologna. Ideatrice e sviluppatrice del Software K-care (software dedicato alla gestione del paziente con parodontite attraverso trend statistici, periodontal charting e gestione dell’attività extra clinica). Consegue la certificazione MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist). Collabora attualmente in esclusiva con il Prof. Francesco Cairo a Firenze.

Claire is proud to be one of the UK SDA training team and works in private practice in Leeds, carrying out Guided Biofilm Therapy on her own patients daily. Not only does she teach all things GBT on courses and in practice, she is also a key opinion leader and/or ambassador for well known dental brands, as well as writing numerous articles for industry/consumer press titles and public speaking. She is extremely passionate about her profession, oral health and prevention.

Mi sono diplomata con Lode nel 2002 presso l’Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale e ho conseguito laurea con Lode nel 2006 presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria. Dal 2002 al 2020 ho lavorato come Igienista Dentale libera professionista. 
Dal 2021 sono CPS Igienista Dentale presso la SCDU Odontostomatologia dell’Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Maggiore della Carità di Novara. 
Dal 2004 al 2021 ho lavorato come professore a contratto nel Corso di Studi in Igiene Dentale dell’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria.
Dal 2015 sono Tutor clinico-didattico e affidataria di Attività di Complemento alla Didattica nel Corso di Studi in Igiene Dentale dell’Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale.
Ho ottenuto il diploma di GBT Trainer presso la Swiss Dental Academy nel 2019 e partecipo in veste di relatrice a diversi corsi e congressi del settore odontoiatrico.
