Prof. Dr. Andreas Stavropoulos ist Professor für Parodontologie an der Malmö University (Schweden) sowie Senior Consultant für Parodontologie. Weitere akademische Tätigkeiten führten ihn u. a. an die Medizinische Universität Wien, die Universität Bern und die Universität Genf. Er studierte Zahnmedizin in Deutschland und Griechenland und promovierte an der Universität Aarhus mit Schwerpunkt regenerative Parodontaltherapie und Implantologie. Prof. Stavropoulos ist Autor von über 250 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen, vielfach ausgezeichneter Forscher und aktives Mitglied zahlreicher internationaler Fachgremien, darunter das Executive Committee der European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Recently, she completed the Koi's Hygiene Program, further solidifying her commitment to advancing dental hygiene practices. Djekic, Bozana M.Sc., B.Sc. ist eine engagierte Dentalhygieniekerin und begeisterte GBT- Trainerin aus Österreich. Im Jahr 2003 schloss sie in Graz ihr Diplom in Parodontologie und Prophylaxe ab. Um ihre Fachkenntnisse zu vertiefen, absolvierte sie einen Universitätslehrgang in Köln und erwarb den Bachelor in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Zusätzlich erweiterte sie ihr Wissen mit einem Masterstudium in Health Care Management, spezialisiert auf Pharma Management. Als engagierte Dentalhygienikerin entdeckte sie ihre Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Ihr Fokus liegt besonders darauf, den Vorteil der GBT mit Liebe und Humor zu vermitteln. Es ist ihr ein großes Anliegen, die GBT-Therapie in Österreich zu etablieren. Ihre Leidenschaft ist es, als Trainerin tätig zu sein, die GBT in wissenschaftlichen Projekten und an Universitäten zu lehren sowie in der Ausbildung von Dentalhygieniker*innen  zu vermitteln. Sie schätzt den Austausch mit Menschen, die ebenso Freude und Enthusiasmus für Innovationen teilen.

Schon während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnarzthelferin, die sie im Jahr 2000 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat, entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Nach ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) konnte sie über viele Jahre hinweg wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Während ihrer Tätigkeit in einer auf Parodontologie spezialisierten Praxis wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie ihre Expertise auf diesem Gebiet weiter vertiefen und die höchste Ausbildungsstufe erreichen möchte. Dies führte 2018 zum erfolgreichen Abschluss ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Dentalhygienikerin (DH). Ihr stetiger Wille zur Weiterentwicklung und regelmäßige Fortbildungen führten sie schließlich zur Guided Biofilm Therapie (GBT). Dieses Konzept überzeugte sie so sehr, dass sie ihre Begeisterung und ihr Wissen weitergeben wollte. Seit 2024 ist sie Teil der Swiss Dental Academy. Für sie ist es essenziell, minimal-invasiv und maximal-präventiv zu arbeiten. Die Kombination aus ihrer Erfahrung in der Praxis und ihrer Tätigkeit als Trainerin ermöglicht ihr, ein Höchstmaß an Qualität zu erreichen und weiterzugeben.

Dopo la laurea, per perfezionarmi sempre di più e  prendermi cura dei miei pazienti nel miglior modo possibile, ho frequentato vari corsi di formazione.
Divento GBT Trainer nel 2020, adoro aiutare i colleghi a introdurre questo protocollo nella propria pratica clinica e imparo da ogni studio dove tengo i corsi qualcosa di nuovo.

Mi sono laureata nel 2004 all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e nel 2010 in Igiene dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Milano. Ho conseguito il Master in Patologia Orale presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino (2015). Sono la fondatrice e vicepresidentessa dell’associazione culturale Mamme&Igieniste. Lavoro presso lo studio del Dr. Vedovati a Seriate (BG) e mi occupo di ricerca scientifica. 

Allison Arendziak has been practicing dental hygiene in the suburbs of Chicago, IL for 14 years and began her career in dentistry in 2007. In addition to clinical practice, Allison has been a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy since 2023 where she supports dental professionals across the country in developing their clinical skills in EMS’ Guided Biofilm Therapy technique. Allison believes that the mouth can tell the body’s story and is dedicated to tying the two together to improve the overall well-being of her patients. She believes the combination of remaining a life-long student and being open to change has been key to maintaining joy and passion for her profession. She has a heart for serving her patients and dental colleagues.
