Laureata nel 2018 a Madrid, lavora nel proprio studio di famiglia a Grosseto (Toscana).

Da Luglio 2019 a Febbraio 2020 ha frequentato IRCCS Galeazzi a Milano con Prof. T. Testori e Prof. F. Galli nel ruolo di frequentatrice attiva del Gruppo Implantare dove si è dedicata alla ricerca scientifica.

Nel Febbraio 2020 ha pubblicato la propria tesi di laurea dal titolo “Studio sperimentale in vitro con microscopio elettronico a scansione delle superfici dentali trattate con tre diverse polveri di Air-Polishing: risultati preliminari“ su la rivista Quintessenza.

Dal 2021 collabora nella clinica odontoiatrica del dott. Giano Ricci e nello studio dentistico del dott. Massimo Frosecchi come Parodontologa. Da Febbraio 2021 a Dicembre 2023 ha frequentato il Master Universitario di II livello a tempo pieno accreditato EFP dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze di Parodontologia e Implantologia Dentale con Prof. F. Cairo e Prof. L.Barbato con votazione di esame 110/110 ad Aprile 2024 e passato a Giugno 2024 l'esame dell'European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

Djekic, Bozana M.Sc., B.Sc. ist eine engagierte Dentalhygieniekerin und begeisterte GBT- Trainerin aus Österreich. Im Jahr 2003 schloss sie in Graz ihr Diplom in Parodontologie und Prophylaxe ab. Um ihre Fachkenntnisse zu vertiefen, absolvierte sie einen Universitätslehrgang in Köln und erwarb den Bachelor in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Zusätzlich erweiterte sie ihr Wissen mit einem Masterstudium in Health Care Management, spezialisiert auf Pharma Management. Als engagierte Dentalhygienikerin entdeckte sie ihre Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Ihr Fokus liegt besonders darauf, den Vorteil der GBT mit Liebe und Humor zu vermitteln. Es ist ihr ein großes Anliegen, die GBT-Therapie in Österreich zu etablieren. Ihre Leidenschaft ist es, als Trainerin tätig zu sein, die GBT in wissenschaftlichen Projekten und an Universitäten zu lehren sowie in der Ausbildung von Dentalhygieniker*innen  zu vermitteln. Sie schätzt den Austausch mit Menschen, die ebenso Freude und Enthusiasmus für Innovationen teilen.

During her career Sally has taught undergraduates and worked as a staff member at King’s College London and the University of Manchester. Over the past 25 years she has worked in NHS Community Clinics, General and Specialist Implant and Periodontal Practices. Sally is past president of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) and is Chair of the BSDHT North West Regional Group. She has lectured throughout the UK and Europe to peer group and the wider profession. Sally is a Key Opinion Leader to several leading companies within the Industry and also quality assures dental education. Sally is a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer. In 2013 and 2014 she was made an Ambassador by the ‘Heart Your Smile’ Charity for ‘Changing the public’s perception of dentistry and encouraging better oral health across the UK’. Sally has spent time in Africa and the Lesvos Refugee Camps providing emergency dental relief and continue to raise money for Dentaid through BSDHT.

Im Jahr 2007 begann sie ihre Ausbildung als Zahnmedizinische Fachangestellte (ZFA). Bereits während ihrer Ausbildung wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie in dieser Berufsspate eine höhere Qualifikation anstreben möchte. Nachdem Sie ihre Ausbildung im Jahr 2010 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hatte, absolvierte sie, neben ihrer Tätigkeit als ZFA ihre Fachhochschulreife über ein Abendgymnasium in zwei Jahren.

Im Oktober 2019 erlangte Sie nach zweijährigem dualem Studium (Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement) mit sehr gutem Abschluss den akademischen Titel „Dentalhygienikerin Bachelor of Science“.

Neben Ihrer beruflichen Haupttätigkeit als DH B.Sc und GBT-Trainerin ist sie als externe Dozentin an der EUFH Köln für den Studiengang Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement tätig.

In dem Berufsbild einer ausgebildeten Prophylaxe-Fachkraft stehen nicht nur Maßnahmen zur Behandlung von Erkrankungen des Zahnhalteapparates und der Zahnhartsubstanz im Vordergrund, sondern die Aufrechterhaltung der Mundgesundheit und allgemeinen Gesundheit durch gezielte Maßnahmen in der zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxe.

With nearly 8,000 GBT treatments with her own patients in clinical practice, Leslie has consistently prioritized patient-centered care and the integration of evidence-based techniques. Her work as an educator and speaker focuses on empowering dental professionals with the tools and knowledge to implement GBT protocols effectively, enhance patient outcomes, and elevate the standard of care. Leslie is known for her engaging teaching style, practical insights, and dedication to fostering professional growth within the dental community. Claire is proud to be one of the UK SDA training team and works in private practice in Leeds, carrying out Guided Biofilm Therapy on her own patients daily. Allison Arendziak has been practicing dental hygiene in the suburbs of Chicago, IL for 14 years and began her career in dentistry in 2007. In addition to clinical practice, Allison has been a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy since 2023 where she supports dental professionals across the country in developing their clinical skills in EMS’ Guided Biofilm Therapy technique. Allison believes that the mouth can tell the body’s story and is dedicated to tying the two together to improve the overall well-being of her patients. She believes the combination of remaining a life-long student and being open to change has been key to maintaining joy and passion for her profession. She has a heart for serving her patients and dental colleagues. 

Mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università di Verona nel 2018. Ho iniziato a collaborare presso lo studio odontoiatrico Albertini-Conci-Bertelle nel 2019, dove tutt’ora svolgo parte della mia attività lavorativa. Collaboro in qualità di libera professionista presso il Centro Dentale della Dott.ssa Francesca Manfrini dal 2013. Durante questi anni ho frequentato numerosi corsi e congressi.

Faye Donald is a registered dental hygienist currently practicing Guided Biofilm Therapy in the UK.

After graduating from Leeds University in 2001, she went on to complete the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. Faye received national award recognition in 2013 when she was crowned "Best Hygienist" at the DH&T National Industry Awards, in 2015 when she was crowned "UK’s Dental Hygienist of The Year" and in 2017 when she was again crowned winner of "UK's best hygienist" at the National Oral Health Awards. Faye is also chairperson for the North East BSDHT (British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy) where she is actively involved in supporting her peers and driving forwards standards within the dental industry. Faye underwent her training at the Swiss Dental Academy to become a certified SDA trainer in 2016 and has since delivered more than 50 GBT courses to audiences both nationally and internationally on the role of AIRFLOW® and Guided Biofilm Therapy in dental prophylaxis.
