Laureata con Lode in Igiene Dentale all’Università di Ferrara nel 2005, ho frequentato il Master di Coordinamento delle Professioni Sanitarie e sto concludendo la laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Nutrizione Umana. Nel tempo libero collaboro con IRC per diffondere le manovre di Basic Life Support, tengo corsi di formazione per ASO e sono Presidente d’Albo Igienisti Dentali e Consigliere d’Ordine a Ferrara. Collaboro con l’Università come membro della commissione di Laurea, come componente della commissione del riesame del corso di Laurea e in passato come docente a contratto. Tutt’ora mantengo la carica di vice-presidente di associazione di categoria UNID dell’Emilia Romagna. Dal 2019 collaboro con EMS come GBT Trainer e dal 2022 come GBT Expert.

Si dedica alla parodontologia, chirurgia orale, endodonzia, conservativa, odontoiatria pediatrica, allineatori ortodontici trasparenti e sbiancamento dentale.

Laureata nel 2018 a Madrid, lavora nel proprio studio di famiglia a Grosseto (Toscana).

Da Luglio 2019 a Febbraio 2020 ha frequentato IRCCS Galeazzi a Milano con Prof. T. Testori e Prof. F. Galli nel ruolo di frequentatrice attiva del Gruppo Implantare dove si è dedicata alla ricerca scientifica.

Nel Febbraio 2020 ha pubblicato la propria tesi di laurea dal titolo “Studio sperimentale in vitro con microscopio elettronico a scansione delle superfici dentali trattate con tre diverse polveri di Air-Polishing: risultati preliminari“ su la rivista Quintessenza.

Dal 2021 collabora nella clinica odontoiatrica del dott. Giano Ricci e nello studio dentistico del dott. Massimo Frosecchi come Parodontologa. Da Febbraio 2021 a Dicembre 2023 ha frequentato il Master Universitario di II livello a tempo pieno accreditato EFP dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze di Parodontologia e Implantologia Dentale con Prof. F. Cairo e Prof. L.Barbato con votazione di esame 110/110 ad Aprile 2024 e passato a Giugno 2024 l'esame dell'European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

Louise Warden is a highly accomplished dental hygienist based in Glasgow at the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry. She began her career in dentistry at the age of 17 as a dental nurse, later studying at Glasgow Dental School, where she graduated with distinction in 2004. In 2005, she received a Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for having the highest exam grades in the UK for dental hygiene.

Louise has extensive experience in various fields of dentistry and is also involved in teaching. She has been with the Scottish Centre since 2008 and is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health. Additionally, she is trained in facial aesthetics, offering treatments such as dermal fillers, lip enhancement, and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Louise is active in promoting Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), an innovative preventive dental treatment, and has been involved in international conferences related to this technique. She is an ambassador for the International Team for Implantology and is involved in training dental professionals in GBT.

Mi nombre es Erik Regidor y soy licenciado en Odontología y especialista en Periodoncia e Implantes por la Universidad del País Vasco. Desde entonces me dedico en exclusiva a Periodoncia e Implantes en PerioCentrum Bilbao. Adicionalmente participo en proyectos de investigación relacionados con mi campo dado que formo parte de los grupos de investigación Arrow Development y ThinkingPerio Research. Fruto de ello estoy actualmente realizando mi doctorado enfocado en el tratamiento quirúrgico de la peri-implantitis. Esto me ha llevado a participar en publicaciones científicas a nivel nacional e internacional dándome la oportunidad desde hace unos años a impartir cursos de formación. Entre otros, soy Trainer de EMS desde el año 2020 y tengo el honor de participar en proyectos de formación tanto para odontólogos como para higienistas.

ayyaba Fiaz is a highly accomplished dental hygienist and community leader. A 2008 graduate of Cégep John Abbott College, she earned the Procter & Gamble Community Dental Hygiene Award and Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award. Tayyaba also holds a B.Sc. degree and has extensive experience as an RDH in Ontario and Quebec. She currently works as a clinician and hygiene coordinator in a general dental practice, leading a team of eight RDHs. As a pioneer in technology, she introduced Airflow Master Prophylaxis and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) at her clinic, improving appointment efficiency and patient satisfaction. In addition, she owns a mobile dental hygiene practice, launched in 2021, offering personalized care directly to clients. Tayyaba’s commitment to community care is evident in her organization of large-scale dental outreach clinics across Quebec, with over 55 volunteers. These initiatives have garnered significant media attention. She also serves as an elected Director for the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) and a representative for the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH). Tayyaba is an instructor at Oulton College's Faculty of Dental Hygiene. Outside her professional responsibilities, Tayyaba enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and taking long walks on sunny days.

Nel 2016 ho partecipato al programma “Continuing Dental Education” - Department of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Department of Periodontology. Nel 2018 ho conseguito la Laurea Magistrale in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche Assistenziali con votazione 110L presso l’Università degli Studi dell'Aquila. 

Lavoro presso lo Studio Dentistico Dott. Alessandro Reale a Teramo, sono una GBT Trainer e opero come Tutor CdL in Igiene Dentale e Guida di Laboratorio del CdLM in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche Assistenziali presso Università Politecnica delle Marche.

Mi sono laureata nel 2016 presso l’Università Politecnica delle Marche ad Ancona e al momento sono una laureanda presso l’Università di Bari per la magistrale in Scienze tecniche diagnostiche. Lavoro in Puglia nella città di Taranto e provincia, dove utilizzo il protocollo GBT. 

Mein Name ist Janine Schröter. Ich bin eine erfahrene und leidenschaftliche Dentalhygienikerin, die ihre Berufung zum Beruf gemacht hat.

Ich arbeite in einer Zahnarztpraxis im Herzen von München. Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten entwickelte ich schnell die Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Zahlreiche Patienten haben mich während meiner praktischen Tätigkeit motiviert und inspiriert, was man mit einer zielgerichteten und individuellen Mundhygieneinstruktion und -therapie erreichen kann. Um mein Spektrum in den Bereichen der Prophylaxe und Parodontologie zu erweitern, habe ich die Qualifikationen „Zahnmedizinische Fachassistentin“ und „Dentalhygienikerin“ erworben.

Seit Beginn meiner zahnmedizinischen Laufbahn arbeite ich mit den Geräten der Firma EMS. Im Jahr 2018 habe ich die Guided Biofilm Therapy in unserer Praxis etabliert und bin so auf die Swiss Dental Academy aufmerksam geworden. Seit 2019 bin ich nun Teil des SDA-Teams und stolz darauf mein Wissen, meine langjährigen Erfahrungen und meine Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy weitergeben zu dürfen.

Djekic, Bozana M.Sc., B.Sc. ist eine engagierte Dentalhygieniekerin und begeisterte GBT- Trainerin aus Österreich. Im Jahr 2003 schloss sie in Graz ihr Diplom in Parodontologie und Prophylaxe ab. Um ihre Fachkenntnisse zu vertiefen, absolvierte sie einen Universitätslehrgang in Köln und erwarb den Bachelor in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Zusätzlich erweiterte sie ihr Wissen mit einem Masterstudium in Health Care Management, spezialisiert auf Pharma Management. Als engagierte Dentalhygienikerin entdeckte sie ihre Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT). Ihr Fokus liegt besonders darauf, den Vorteil der GBT mit Liebe und Humor zu vermitteln. Es ist ihr ein großes Anliegen, die GBT-Therapie in Österreich zu etablieren. Ihre Leidenschaft ist es, als Trainerin tätig zu sein, die GBT in wissenschaftlichen Projekten und an Universitäten zu lehren sowie in der Ausbildung von Dentalhygieniker*innen  zu vermitteln. Sie schätzt den Austausch mit Menschen, die ebenso Freude und Enthusiasmus für Innovationen teilen.

Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Since June 2022, she has served as a U.S. SDA Trainer, and in June 2024, she expanded her role as a Success Coach. In addition to her coaching and training work, she provides dental hygiene services in nursing homes and volunteers her time with Mission of Mercy and her local food pantry, efforts that reflect her strong commitment to giving back and caring for her community. Today, she loves empowering clinicians to confidently implement GBT and helping dental teams grow through supportive, real-world training
