Binta Visser ist eine engagierte und erfahrene Fachkraft im Bereich der Zahnmedizin, die seit 2020 die SDA mit ihrem fundierten Wissen und ihren Fähigkeiten unterstützt. Ihre Reise in die Welt der Zahnmedizin begann 2011, als sie während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten (ZFA) einen Kurs der SDA besuchte. Begeistert von den neuen Erkenntnissen und dem erlangten Wissen entschied sie sich, ebenfalls für die SDA tätig zu werden.

Nach dem Abschluss ihrer Ausbildung zur ZFA erweiterte Binta ihre Qualifikationen durch eine Weiterbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) und absolvierte anschließend den Bachelor-Studiengang in Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement. Ihre umfassende Ausbildung und ihr Engagement für die Zahnmedizin machen sie zu einer wertvollen Ressource für Praxiskurse.

Binta hat in mehreren Zahnarztpraxen mit unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkten, darunter Kinderzahnheilkunde, Ästhetik und Oralchirurgie, gearbeitet. Diese vielfältige Erfahrung ermöglicht es ihr, die Praxiskurse besonders kompetent zu betreuen und auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der Teilnehmer einzugehen.

Ein besonderes Augenmerk legt Binta auf die Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), die nicht nur evidenzbasiert und minimalinvasiv ist, sondern auch ein maximal präventives Behandlungskonzept ist. Diese Methode sorgt nicht nur für eine angenehmere Behandlung für die Patienten, sondern erleichtert auch den Behandlern die Arbeit, macht sie effektiver und bringt viel Freude mit sich.

Patricia Blagic's journey in the dental field is a testament to her dedication and passion for oral health. Starting her career as a dental assistant, she quickly advanced to an expanded duties dental assistant after nine years, before pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Fueled by a strong commitment to combating periodontal disease and a desire to educate patients, Patricia has consistently pushed herself to excel. In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Recently, she completed the Koi's Hygiene Program, further solidifying her commitment to advancing dental hygiene practices. Patricia is not just a professional; she is a passionate advocate for the importance of dental hygiene, dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.

Kevin Ohashi Lopez, RDH, BSDH, MHA is a nationally recognized dental hygienist, educator, and speaker known for advancing modern, evidence based preventive care. With extensive clinical experience and advanced training in contemporary biofilm management, Kevin focuses on elevating hygiene protocols through minimally invasive, patient centered approaches. Laura Bailey graduated from Manchester University in 2013 as a Dental Therapist.

 

She not only came top in her year but she also won 2 awards for her final year case presentations and for being the best overall student of the year both clinically and academically.

 

She has worked in private practice since at 'The Richmond Dentist' where she treats patients who have become friends.

 

Dr. Anna Seidel ist Oberärztin in der Abteilung für zahnärztliche Prothetik am Uniklinikum Erlangen der Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Ihr klinischer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Perio-Prothetik, d.h. der prothetischen Rehabilitation parodontal kompromittierter Patienten. Dabei werden Therapieaspekte der Prothetik, Parodontologie und Implantologie kombiniert. ayyaba Fiaz is a highly accomplished dental hygienist and community leader. A 2008 graduate of Cégep John Abbott College, she earned the Procter & Gamble Community Dental Hygiene Award and Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award. Tayyaba also holds a B.Sc. degree and has extensive experience as an RDH in Ontario and Quebec. She currently works as a clinician and hygiene coordinator in a general dental practice, leading a team of eight RDHs. As a pioneer in technology, she introduced Airflow Master Prophylaxis and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) at her clinic, improving appointment efficiency and patient satisfaction. In addition, she owns a mobile dental hygiene practice, launched in 2021, offering personalized care directly to clients. Mi nombre es María, soy de Salamanca, España, tengo 32 años y trabajo como higienista bucodental en la clínica del Dr. Javier Sola Alonso, en Valladolid. Siempre he estado interesada en el cuidado de la salud y después de graduarme en secundaria, decidí realizar una formación profesional de auxiliar de enfermería, lo que posteriormente me llevó a inscribirme en higiene bucodental.

Durante mis estudios, aprendí sobre la importancia de la higiene bucodental y cómo prevenir las enfermedades de la cavidad oral, como la caries y la enfermedad periodontal, también aprendí cómo educar a los pacientes sobre la importancia de una buena higiene oral y cómo mantener sus dientes y encías sanos.

Después de obtener mi título de higienista bucodental, me especialicé en técnicas de profilaxis y en la educación de los pacientes sobre cómo mantener una correcta higiene oral, también trabajé en estrecha colaboración con el dentista de la clínica, para diagnosticar y tratar enfermedades dentales en los pacientes, con el tiempo, me convertí en una higienista líder en mi trabajo y comencé a capacitar a otros higienistas sobre nuestras prácticas de cuidados y atención bucodental y sobre nuevas tecnologías, lo que me llevó a ejercer como GBT trainer para EMS.

Me enorgullece proporcionar una atención personalizada y de alta calidad a mis pacientes, me encanta que adquieran unos buenos hábitos, esto les ayuda a mejorar su salud bucodental y general.

En mi tiempo libre, me gusta asistir a conferencias y seminarios para estar al día sobre las últimas tendencias y tecnologías, también disfruto de la lectura, hago ejercicio y estudio sobre nutrición y dietética.

Louise Warden is a highly accomplished dental hygienist based in Glasgow at the Scottish Centre for Excellence in Dentistry. She began her career in dentistry at the age of 17 as a dental nurse, later studying at Glasgow Dental School, where she graduated with distinction in 2004. In 2005, she received a Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh for having the highest exam grades in the UK for dental hygiene.

Louise has extensive experience in various fields of dentistry and is also involved in teaching. She has been with the Scottish Centre since 2008 and is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health. Additionally, she is trained in facial aesthetics, offering treatments such as dermal fillers, lip enhancement, and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Louise is active in promoting Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), an innovative preventive dental treatment, and has been involved in international conferences related to this technique. She is an ambassador for the International Team for Implantology and is involved in training dental professionals in GBT.
