Laureata con Lode nel 2016 presso Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, sono collaboratrice presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria nel reparto di Igiene dentale e la scuola di specializzazione in odontoiatria pediatrica. Ho seguito un perfezionamento in terapia perimplantare con il Prof. Massimo Simion nel 2017 e un perfezionamento nel trattamento della malattia parodontale con il professore Carlo Ghezzi nel 2019. Sono una GBT Trainer dal 2022, opero la mia professione nella provincia di Milano e svolgo corsi privati per professionisti e pazienti riguardo la prevenzione orale. Sono responsabile del reparto di Igiene Dentale presso lo studio dentistico Dott. Jacopo Padalino a Legnano e mi occupo a 360 gradi di Igiene dentale sia nel paziente pediatrico che nel paziente adulto.

Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Sarah Crow started in the dental industry in 2004. She has earned numerous awards throughout her education and career as a Dental Hygienist. To name a few, Sarah was voted the 2021 “Massachusetts Dental Society, Hygienist of the Year.” And was most recently voted the 2024 “Research Hygienist of The Year” by the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. Sarah is a recent Past-President, of The Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also a Senior Executive Consultant for Cellerant Consulting Group and a United States Trainer for The Swiss Dental Academy, in the field of Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS Dental. She presents educational content both virtually and in-person, to dental professionals across the country. Sarah enjoys working chairside with patients in Salem, MA where she is given the opportunity to exhibit her passion for helping others to improve their oral and overall health.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Stavropoulos ist Professor für Parodontologie an der Malmö University (Schweden) sowie Senior Consultant für Parodontologie. Weitere akademische Tätigkeiten führten ihn u. a. an die Medizinische Universität Wien, die Universität Bern und die Universität Genf. Er studierte Zahnmedizin in Deutschland und Griechenland und promovierte an der Universität Aarhus mit Schwerpunkt regenerative Parodontaltherapie und Implantologie. Prof. Stavropoulos ist Autor von über 250 wissenschaftlichen Publikationen, vielfach ausgezeichneter Forscher und aktives Mitglied zahlreicher internationaler Fachgremien, darunter das Executive Committee der European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).

Laureata con Lode in Igiene Dentale all’Università di Ferrara nel 2005, ho frequentato il Master di Coordinamento delle Professioni Sanitarie e sto concludendo la laurea Magistrale in Scienze della Nutrizione Umana. Nel tempo libero collaboro con IRC per diffondere le manovre di Basic Life Support, tengo corsi di formazione per ASO e sono Presidente d’Albo Igienisti Dentali e Consigliere d’Ordine a Ferrara. Collaboro con l’Università come membro della commissione di Laurea, come componente della commissione del riesame del corso di Laurea e in passato come docente a contratto. Tutt’ora mantengo la carica di vice-presidente di associazione di categoria UNID dell’Emilia Romagna. Dal 2019 collaboro con EMS come GBT Trainer e dal 2022 come GBT Expert.

Jan Derks ist Spezialist für Parodontologie und behandelt Patienten in der Fachklinik für Parodontologie in Göteborg, Schweden. Er promovierte an der Universität Göteborg, wo er eine Stelle als außerordentlicher Professor am Institut für Parodontologie des Instituts für Zahnmedizin innehat. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind biologische Komplikationen im Zusammenhang mit Zahnimplantaten.

Ho conseguito il Master di I livello “La ricerca scientifica in ambito sanitario” e, nel 2022, il Master of Science in Dental Hygiene presso l’University College of London, dove mi sono specializzata in perio-medicine, ricerca scientifica e gestione clinica del paziente parodontale. 
Dal 2020 lavoro come professore a contratto presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona e dal 2018 sono GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy.

Pam has an impressive and progressive career in dentistry, spanning over four decades. She began her journey in the field as a dental assistant at the age of 16, a role she held for 16 years. In 2001, she became a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Her commitment to advanced preventative care led her to become licensed as an independent dental hygienist (IPDH) in Maine in 2010. This allowed her to practice in both private settings and her own solo preventive practice. In 2021, Pam established the Searsmont Oral Wellness Center, where she champions her unique approach to optimal preventative care. Her practice has flourished by incorporating cutting-edge technologies like microscopy, laser therapies, salivary diagnostics, and the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) compass. Patients appreciate her laid-back yet informative style, which educates them while delivering patient-focused care. Beyond her practice, Pam is a certified GBT trainer for EMS, a role that enables her to connect with other forward-thinking professionals across the United States. When she's not traveling for her training work, she enjoys her home, family, and friends in Mid-Coast Maine.

Schon während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnarzthelferin, die sie im Jahr 2000 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat, entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Nach ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) konnte sie über viele Jahre hinweg wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Während ihrer Tätigkeit in einer auf Parodontologie spezialisierten Praxis wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie ihre Expertise auf diesem Gebiet weiter vertiefen und die höchste Ausbildungsstufe erreichen möchte. Dies führte 2018 zum erfolgreichen Abschluss ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Dentalhygienikerin (DH). Ihr stetiger Wille zur Weiterentwicklung und regelmäßige Fortbildungen führten sie schließlich zur Guided Biofilm Therapie (GBT). Dieses Konzept überzeugte sie so sehr, dass sie ihre Begeisterung und ihr Wissen weitergeben wollte. Seit 2024 ist sie Teil der Swiss Dental Academy. Für sie ist es essenziell, minimal-invasiv und maximal-präventiv zu arbeiten. Die Kombination aus ihrer Erfahrung in der Praxis und ihrer Tätigkeit als Trainerin ermöglicht ihr, ein Höchstmaß an Qualität zu erreichen und weiterzugeben.

Sono iscritto alla Società Italiana di Parodontologia e opero come consulente presso le cliniche svizzere Adent Clinique a Ginevra. Attualmente sono titolare di uno studio professionale di igiene dentale Castel di Sangro (AQ).
