Mya CHOUFANI es una odontóloga suizo-estadounidense altamente dedicada y exitosa que vive en Madrid, España, donde abrió su consulta privada “Clinica CLOE” con la misión de cambiar la forma en que se brinda la atención a la salud oral a los pacientes, especialmente a los niños y mujeres en épocas de pubertad, embarazo y menopausia.

Mya estudió en NYU College of Dentistry, donde obtuvo su título de DDS (doctor of dental surgery), antes de asistir a Mount Sinai School of Medicine para su Residencia en Práctica General. Mya ha podido ejercer en Europa después de mudarse a Madrid al asistir a La Universidad Europea para obtener su Licenciatura en Odontología.

En 2009, se convirtió en la entrenadora fundadora del Swiss Dental Academy (EMS) en España. Desde entonces, ha impartido muchos cursos sobre la tecnología Piezon, la gestión del biofilm y ahora sobre el Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT).

Debido a su amor por la enseñanza y por trabajar con niños, desarrolló un programa llamado “CLOE Smiles for Madrid”, donde dona su tiempo a través de escuelas, grupos, asociaciones etc. a enseñar a los niños la importancia de tener una boca sana a traves de una buena higiene oral.

Jan Derks ist Spezialist für Parodontologie und behandelt Patienten in der Fachklinik für Parodontologie in Göteborg, Schweden. Er promovierte an der Universität Göteborg, wo er eine Stelle als außerordentlicher Professor am Institut für Parodontologie des Instituts für Zahnmedizin innehat. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind biologische Komplikationen im Zusammenhang mit Zahnimplantaten.

Laureata nel 2013 presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona, svolge la sua attività prevalentemente su pazienti con malattia parodontale.

Allison Arendziak has been practicing dental hygiene in the suburbs of Chicago, IL for 14 years and began her career in dentistry in 2007. In addition to clinical practice, Allison has been a trainer for the Swiss Dental Academy since 2023 where she supports dental professionals across the country in developing their clinical skills in EMS’ Guided Biofilm Therapy technique. Allison believes that the mouth can tell the body’s story and is dedicated to tying the two together to improve the overall well-being of her patients. Leslie Ramsey, RDH, is a passionate and experienced dental hygienist with a strong commitment to advancing clinical excellence and patient care through education. As a GBT (Guided Biofilm Therapy) Education Specialist and lead of the United States Success Coaches, Leslie brings deep expertise in preventive dentistry, biofilm management, and minimally invasive hygiene protocols. With nearly 8,000 GBT treatments with her own patients in clinical practice, Leslie has consistently prioritized patient-centered care and the integration of evidence-based techniques. Her work as an educator and speaker focuses on empowering dental professionals with the tools and knowledge to implement GBT protocols effectively, enhance patient outcomes, and elevate the standard of care. Mit meinem Abschluss zur ZFA 2003 begann der Einstieg in meinen absoluten Traumjob, seit dem führe ich eine durchgängige Praxistätigkeit, unter anderem in Schwerpunktpraxen auf Parodontologie, Implantologie und CMD. Ich sammelte sehr viel Praxiserfahrung und besuchte Zahnärztetage und Fortbildungen. 2015 absolvierte ich meine Aufstiegsfortbildung zur ZMP an der Uniklinik Leipzig und verfolgte mit großem Ehrgeiz im Anschluss 2019 meine Dentalhygienikerin Ausbildung an der Universität Witten Herdecke mit anschließender Bachelorarbeit. Seit 2016 arbeite ich nach dem evidenzbasierten 8 Schritte GBT Protokoll und wachse stetig mit neuen Herausforderungen.

Mir ist es vor allem wichtig meine Patienten minimal invasiv und maximal präventiv über eine lange solide Behandlung zu betreuen und dies gelingt mir jeden Tag aufs Neue - mit der GBT nahezu perfekt. Seit 2020 begleite ich an der LZKS viele Mitarbeiterkurse als Referentin und bin im Prüfungsausschuss für die Durchführung der ZMP aktiv.

2022 absolvierte ich meinen Betriebswirt der Zahnmedizin und begann meine Tätigkeit als GBT Trainerin in der SDA mit ganzem Herzen.
