Laureata con Lode nel 2016 presso Università degli Studi dell’Insubria, sono collaboratrice presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria nel reparto di Igiene dentale e la scuola di specializzazione in odontoiatria pediatrica. Ho seguito un perfezionamento in terapia perimplantare con il Prof. Massimo Simion nel 2017 e un perfezionamento nel trattamento della malattia parodontale con il professore Carlo Ghezzi nel 2019. Sono una GBT Trainer dal 2022, opero la mia professione nella provincia di Milano e svolgo corsi privati per professionisti e pazienti riguardo la prevenzione orale. Sono responsabile del reparto di Igiene Dentale presso lo studio dentistico Dott. Jacopo Padalino a Legnano e mi occupo a 360 gradi di Igiene dentale sia nel paziente pediatrico che nel paziente adulto.

Mit meinem Abschluss zur ZFA 2003 begann der Einstieg in meinen absoluten Traumjob, seit dem führe ich eine durchgängige Praxistätigkeit, unter anderem in Schwerpunktpraxen auf Parodontologie, Implantologie und CMD. Ich sammelte sehr viel Praxiserfahrung und besuchte Zahnärztetage und Fortbildungen. 2015 absolvierte ich meine Aufstiegsfortbildung zur ZMP an der Uniklinik Leipzig und verfolgte mit großem Ehrgeiz im Anschluss 2019 meine Dentalhygienikerin Ausbildung an der Universität Witten Herdecke mit anschließender Bachelorarbeit. Seit 2016 arbeite ich nach dem evidenzbasierten 8 Schritte GBT Protokoll und wachse stetig mit neuen Herausforderungen.

Mir ist es vor allem wichtig meine Patienten minimal invasiv und maximal präventiv über eine lange solide Behandlung zu betreuen und dies gelingt mir jeden Tag aufs Neue - mit der GBT nahezu perfekt. Seit 2020 begleite ich an der LZKS viele Mitarbeiterkurse als Referentin und bin im Prüfungsausschuss für die Durchführung der ZMP aktiv.

2022 absolvierte ich meinen Betriebswirt der Zahnmedizin und begann meine Tätigkeit als GBT Trainerin in der SDA mit ganzem Herzen.

Schon während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnarzthelferin, die sie im Jahr 2000 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat, entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Nach ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) konnte sie über viele Jahre hinweg wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Während ihrer Tätigkeit in einer auf Parodontologie spezialisierten Praxis wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie ihre Expertise auf diesem Gebiet weiter vertiefen und die höchste Ausbildungsstufe erreichen möchte. Dies führte 2018 zum erfolgreichen Abschluss ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Dentalhygienikerin (DH). Ihr stetiger Wille zur Weiterentwicklung und regelmäßige Fortbildungen führten sie schließlich zur Guided Biofilm Therapie (GBT). Dieses Konzept überzeugte sie so sehr, dass sie ihre Begeisterung und ihr Wissen weitergeben wollte. Seit 2024 ist sie Teil der Swiss Dental Academy. Karine earned her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2010. After practicing in Switzerland for a year, she returned to settle in Estrie, where she grew up. Jovial and enthusiastic, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning to develop her skills. Yemia White, BSDH, began her career in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant. Demonstrating an early passion for patient care—and encouraged by her employer-dentist to advance her education—she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University in 2004 With experience in both public and private healthcare settings, Yemia has provided care to patients representing a wide range of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She currently practices in a multidisciplinary setting specializing in periodontics and prosthodontics. In her role as a Professional Dental Hygienist, she is dedicated to preventing oral disease and delivering effective treatment when needed. Her strong understanding of the oral–systemic health connection continually motivates her to deliver the highest standard of care to her patients. Soy Estefanía Laguna, licenciada en Odontología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2007). Posteriormente, completé el Máster en Ciencias Odontológicas y el Máster en Periodoncia e Implantes en la misma universidad, finalizando mi formación de postgrado en 2013.
