Mi sono laureata nel 2004 all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera e nel 2010 in Igiene dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Milano. Ho conseguito il Master in Patologia Orale presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino (2015). Sono la fondatrice e vicepresidentessa dell’associazione culturale Mamme&Igieniste. Lavoro presso lo studio del Dr. Vedovati a Seriate (BG) e mi occupo di ricerca scientifica. 

Mein Studium zur dipl. Dentalhygienikerin HF in Zürich, welches ich 2017 abgeschlossen habe, hat mir gezeigt, wie bedeutend wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der Zahnmedizin ist. Daher kommt auch mein Interesse evidenzbasiert zu arbeiten, Dinge zu hinterfragen und immer breit zu sein neue Wege zu gehen. Die GBT vereint all das, wonach ich immer gesucht habe. Ich erlebe täglich im Praxisalltag, wie viel orale Prävention bei Patienten wirklich bewirken kann. Daran stetig weiterzuarbeiten und gleichzeitig an diesem Erfolgen beteiligt zu sein ist ein großartiges Gefühl und treibt mich an.

ayyaba Fiaz is a highly accomplished dental hygienist and community leader. A 2008 graduate of Cégep John Abbott College, she earned the Procter & Gamble Community Dental Hygiene Award and Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award. Tayyaba also holds a B.Sc. degree and has extensive experience as an RDH in Ontario and Quebec. She currently works as a clinician and hygiene coordinator in a general dental practice, leading a team of eight RDHs. As a pioneer in technology, she introduced Airflow Master Prophylaxis and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) at her clinic, improving appointment efficiency and patient satisfaction. In addition, she owns a mobile dental hygiene practice, launched in 2021, offering personalized care directly to clients. Tayyaba’s commitment to community care is evident in her organization of large-scale dental outreach clinics across Quebec, with over 55 volunteers. These initiatives have garnered significant media attention. She also serves as an elected Director for the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA) and a representative for the International Federation of Dental Hygienists (IFDH). Tayyaba is an instructor at Oulton College's Faculty of Dental Hygiene. Outside her professional responsibilities, Tayyaba enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and taking long walks on sunny days.

Ho iniziato a collaborare presso lo studio odontoiatrico Albertini-Conci-Bertelle nel 2019, dove tutt’ora svolgo parte della mia attività lavorativa. "Nel 2016 mi sono laureata presso l'Università degli Studi di Siena con tesi: “La terapia fotodinamica nel trattamento delle mucositi nei pazienti portatori di protesi totali ancorate su impianti”. Durante questi anni ho individuato i miei maggiori ambiti di interesse, focalizzando lo studio sulla terapia Parodontale non chirurgia.

Nel 2018 ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecnico Assistenziali presso l'Università La Sapienza di Roma. Durante questi anni ho ampliato la mia formazione spaziando dal diritto all’economia presentando così una tesi con impronta giuridica dal titolo: “L’igienista dentale tra subordinazione e libera professione”.
Dal 2019 ho svolto il Master di I livello in Igiene Orale ad Indirizzo Parodontale Estetico ed Ortodontico in collaborazione con la Fondazione Istituto Stomatologico Toscano con tesi: “Malattia Parodontale e problematiche sistemiche: una correlazione pericolosa?”.
Nel 2020 ho intrapreso il master di Patologia Orale presso la Dental School di Torino presentando come caso clinico: “Herpes Virus: Manifestazioni Intraorale"". Ho cercato di affinare il mio bagaglio che sentivo carente su tutto ciò che interessava le patologie delle mucose gengivali non indotte da placca batterica.

Karine earned her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2010. After practicing in Switzerland for a year, she returned to settle in Estrie, where she grew up. Jovial and enthusiastic, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning to develop her skills. Passionate about her profession, she focuses on gentle and non-invasive treatments, which is how she discovered the Guided Biofilm Therapy Protocol. After four years of practice with the Airflow Prophylaxis Master, she can no longer do without it. Mi nombre es María, soy de Salamanca, España, tengo 32 años y trabajo como higienista bucodental en la clínica del Dr. Javier Sola Alonso, en Valladolid. Siempre he estado interesada en el cuidado de la salud y después de graduarme en secundaria, decidí realizar una formación profesional de auxiliar de enfermería, lo que posteriormente me llevó a inscribirme en higiene bucodental.

Durante mis estudios, aprendí sobre la importancia de la higiene bucodental y cómo prevenir las enfermedades de la cavidad oral, como la caries y la enfermedad periodontal, también aprendí cómo educar a los pacientes sobre la importancia de una buena higiene oral y cómo mantener sus dientes y encías sanos.

Después de obtener mi título de higienista bucodental, me especialicé en técnicas de profilaxis y en la educación de los pacientes sobre cómo mantener una correcta higiene oral, también trabajé en estrecha colaboración con el dentista de la clínica, para diagnosticar y tratar enfermedades dentales en los pacientes, con el tiempo, me convertí en una higienista líder en mi trabajo y comencé a capacitar a otros higienistas sobre nuestras prácticas de cuidados y atención bucodental y sobre nuevas tecnologías, lo que me llevó a ejercer como GBT trainer para EMS.

Me enorgullece proporcionar una atención personalizada y de alta calidad a mis pacientes, me encanta que adquieran unos buenos hábitos, esto les ayuda a mejorar su salud bucodental y general.

En mi tiempo libre, me gusta asistir a conferencias y seminarios para estar al día sobre las últimas tendencias y tecnologías, también disfruto de la lectura, hago ejercicio y estudio sobre nutrición y dietética.
