Laureata con Lode in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università degli Studi dell’Insubria nel 2016. Sin da subito ho frequentato corsi di aggiornamento principalmente sulla terapia non chirurgica della malattia parodontale, come il corso MeG del Dr. Ghezzi, il corso del Prof. Simion e il corso annuale della SIdP. Ho superato la selezione Trainer nel 2022 e da allora mi dedico con passione all’applicazione e alla divulgazione del protocollo GBT. Lavoro in libera professione a Marano Vicentino (VI) e ad Arsago Seprio (VA). 

Mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università di Verona nel 2018. Ho iniziato a collaborare presso lo studio odontoiatrico Albertini-Conci-Bertelle nel 2019, dove tutt’ora svolgo parte della mia attività lavorativa. Collaboro in qualità di libera professionista presso il Centro Dentale della Dott.ssa Francesca Manfrini dal 2013. Durante questi anni ho frequentato numerosi corsi e congressi.

Janis Spiliadis is an international clinician with over 35 years experience practicing in Switzerland, Greece, Saudi Arabia and the United States. Janis received her degree in dental hygiene from Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach County Florida. In 2007 she obtained her independent hygiene certification allowing her to open her own practice in Switzerland, where she practiced for 25 years. Janis is also served as a member of the Straumann hygiene advisory board and is it KOL for several dental companies.Fluent in French Janis has presented worldwide on the effects of biofilm on systemic health.

Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Since June 2022, she has served as a U.S. SDA Trainer, and in June 2024, she expanded her role as a Success Coach. In addition to her coaching and training work, she provides dental hygiene services in nursing homes and volunteers her time with Mission of Mercy and her local food pantry, efforts that reflect her strong commitment to giving back and caring for her community. In dem Berufsbild einer ausgebildeten Prophylaxe-Fachkraft stehen nicht nur Maßnahmen zur Behandlung von Erkrankungen des Zahnhalteapparates und der Zahnhartsubstanz im Vordergrund, sondern die Aufrechterhaltung der Mundgesundheit und allgemeinen Gesundheit durch gezielte Maßnahmen in der zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxe.

Yemia White, BSDH, began her career in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant. Demonstrating an early passion for patient care—and encouraged by her employer-dentist to advance her education—she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University in 2004 With experience in both public and private healthcare settings, Yemia has provided care to patients representing a wide range of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She currently practices in a multidisciplinary setting specializing in periodontics and prosthodontics. In her role as a Professional Dental Hygienist, she is dedicated to preventing oral disease and delivering effective treatment when needed. Yemia considers the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) protocol essential to implant, periodontal, and preventive maintenance. Her strong understanding of the oral–systemic health connection continually motivates her to deliver the highest standard of care to her patients. She is a published author for RDH Magazine and a guest contributor to the blog series How Do You Speak Salivary Diagnostics? Her professional speaking engagements on preventive maintenance for full-arch, fixed implant dentistry include presentations for DentalXP and A Higher Learning, LLC. Il mio percorso inizia nel novembre 2012, anno in cui mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l'Università degli Studi di Padova. Fin da subito sono rimasta all'interno della stessa nelle vesti di tutor e correlatrice di tesi in quanto adoro stare a contatto con gli studenti cercando di trasmettere la mia passione per la professione. Ho frequentato diversi corsi di parodontologia, branca che mi appassiona più di tutte e nel 2018 ho conseguito il Master di I livello in Patologia orale presso l'Università degli Studi di Torino. Dal 2021 faccio parte della grande famiglia EMS come GBT Trainer certificata dalla Swiss Dental Academy. 

Mein Studium zur dipl. Dentalhygienikerin HF in Zürich, welches ich 2017 abgeschlossen habe, hat mir gezeigt, wie bedeutend wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in der Zahnmedizin ist. Daher kommt auch mein Interesse evidenzbasiert zu arbeiten, Dinge zu hinterfragen und immer breit zu sein neue Wege zu gehen. Die GBT vereint all das, wonach ich immer gesucht habe. Ich erlebe täglich im Praxisalltag, wie viel orale Prävention bei Patienten wirklich bewirken kann. Daran stetig weiterzuarbeiten und gleichzeitig an diesem Erfolgen beteiligt zu sein ist ein großartiges Gefühl und treibt mich an.
