Starting her career as a dental assistant, she quickly advanced to an expanded duties dental assistant after nine years, before pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Fueled by a strong commitment to combating periodontal disease and a desire to educate patients, Patricia has consistently pushed herself to excel. In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Since June 2022, she has served as a U.S. SDA Trainer, and in June 2024, she expanded her role as a Success Coach. In addition to her coaching and training work, she provides dental hygiene services in nursing homes and volunteers her time with Mission of Mercy and her local food pantry, efforts that reflect her strong commitment to giving back and caring for her community. Lisa Yao completed her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science Specializing in Dental Hygiene Degree from the University of Alberta in 2016, while working full time! Lisa has been a Dental Hygienist for over 12 years! Over the years, she has had additional training in periodontics, diode laser, and Guided Biofilm Therapy, completing her GBT Certification in 2022. Lisa enjoys serving the community and sharing her passion for dentistry while providing each patient with the utmost evidence-based care. Her priority is to provide high-quality dental care in a safe and comfortable environment, educating patients on how good oral hygiene is a significant part of their overall health

Dentalhygienikerin Veronika ist eine passionierte GBT Anwenderin, weshalb sie diese Begeisterung als GBT Trainerin in Praxistrainings weitergibt. Für Veronika selbst ist das oberste Ziel, ihre Patient*innen auf dem höchsten Niveau zu betreuen und andere Fachkräfte zu diesem hohen Niveau zu motivieren. Aus diesem Grund ging sie den Weg der Dentalhygienikerin und absolvierte 2019-2021 das Bachelorstudium Dentalhygiene und Präventionsmanagement in Köln und ist seitdem auch für die Ausbildung angehender zahnmedizinischer Prophylaxeassistent*innen und Dentalhygieniker*innen in einem Fortbildungsinstitut tätig.  Um das Fachwissen stets aufrecht zu erhalten und immer auf dem neusten Stand der Wissenschaft zu bleiben, besucht sie selbst gerne Fort- und Weiterbildungen in allen Bereichen rund um die Zahnmedizin.

Mi sono laureata in Igiene Dentale presso l’Università di Verona nel 2018. Ho iniziato a collaborare presso lo studio odontoiatrico Albertini-Conci-Bertelle nel 2019, dove tutt’ora svolgo parte della mia attività lavorativa. Karine earned her Dental Hygiene Diploma in 2010. After practicing in Switzerland for a year, she returned to settle in Estrie, where she grew up. Jovial and enthusiastic, she enjoys sharing her knowledge and learning to develop her skills. Passionate about her profession, she focuses on gentle and non-invasive treatments, which is how she discovered the Guided Biofilm Therapy Protocol. During her career Sally has taught undergraduates and worked as a staff member at King’s College London and the University of Manchester. Over the past 25 years she has worked in NHS Community Clinics, General and Specialist Implant and Periodontal Practices. Sally is past president of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT) and is Chair of the BSDHT North West Regional Group. She has lectured throughout the UK and Europe to peer group and the wider profession. Sally is a Key Opinion Leader to several leading companies within the Industry and also quality assures dental education. Sally is a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer. In 2013 and 2014 she was made an Ambassador by the ‘Heart Your Smile’ Charity for ‘Changing the public’s perception of dentistry and encouraging better oral health across the UK’. Sally has spent time in Africa and the Lesvos Refugee Camps providing emergency dental relief and continue to raise money for Dentaid through BSDHT.

Paula Chebat, BSDH, RDHAP, is an Alternative Practice Hygienist, educator, and EMS GBT Trainer with nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry. Her background spans dental assisting, front office management, and clinical dental hygiene, giving her a uniquely comprehensive perspective on patient care and practice operations. Paula owns and operates her own dental hygiene practice, where she provides accessible preventive care and champions evidence-based protocols that elevate the patient experience. She also serves in legislative and advocacy roles that support and advance the dental hygiene profession. As a trainer with the Swiss Dental Academy, Paula works with dental teams nationwide to implement Guided Biofilm Therapy using the AirFlow Prophylaxis Master, emphasizing clinical excellence, patient comfort, and predictable outcomes. Known for her energetic teaching style and practical communication, Paula is dedicated to empowering dental professionals. Whether she’s leading hands-on trainings, advocating for her profession, or caring for patients, Paula brings passion, integrity, and a forward-thinking vision to the future of dental hygiene.
