Claudia hat sich nach ihrem Abschluss zur Dentalhygienikerin HF im Jahr 1997 kontinuierlich weitergebildet (Ausbildung Terminalanästhesie, dipl. med. Praxisleiterin und viele mehr). Ihr besonderes Interesse gilt der Wissensvermittlung in der Prophylaxe, einem Bereich, den sie als äußerst wichtig erachtet. Sie verfolgt die Entwicklung neuer Techniken und Methoden, um ihre Kenntnisse stets auf dem neuesten Stand zu halten und andere Fachkräfte in diesem Bereich zu inspirieren.

Seit 2017 ist Claudia eine begeisterte Anwenderin der Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), einem evidenzbasierten 8 Schritte GBT Behandlungs Protokoll. Ihre Leidenschaft für diese Technik hat sie dazu motiviert, als Trainerin für die SDA zu arbeiten. Als Trainerin gibt sie ihr umfangreiches und langjähriges Wissen mit viel Engagement und Begeisterung an die Anwender der GBT weiter. Claudia legt großen Wert darauf, dass die Teilnehmer nicht nur theoretische Kenntnisse erwerben, sondern auch praktische Fähigkeiten entwickeln, um die GBT effektiv in ihrer täglichen Arbeit anzuwenden.

Im Jahr 2023 hat Claudia den Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit gewagt und eine Firma übernommen, die ein breites Spektrum an Fort- und Weiterbildungen im dentalen Bereich anbietet. Mit ihrer Erfahrung und ihrem Fachwissen möchte sie anderen Fachleuten in der Zahnmedizin helfen, ihre Fähigkeiten zu verbessern und die neuesten Entwicklungen in der Prophylaxe zu integrieren. Claudias Ziel ist es, die Qualität der dentalen Prophylaxe in der Schweiz zu erhöhen und die Bedeutung einer umfassenden Weiterbildung zu fördern.

Schon während ihrer Ausbildung zur Zahnarzthelferin, die sie im Jahr 2000 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat, entdeckte sie ihre Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Nach ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Prophylaxeassistentin (ZMP) konnte sie über viele Jahre hinweg wertvolle Erfahrungen sammeln. Während ihrer Tätigkeit in einer auf Parodontologie spezialisierten Praxis wurde ihr bewusst, dass sie ihre Expertise auf diesem Gebiet weiter vertiefen und die höchste Ausbildungsstufe erreichen möchte. Dies führte 2018 zum erfolgreichen Abschluss ihrer Aufstiegsfortbildung zur Dentalhygienikerin (DH). Ihr stetiger Wille zur Weiterentwicklung und regelmäßige Fortbildungen führten sie schließlich zur Guided Biofilm Therapie (GBT). Dieses Konzept überzeugte sie so sehr, dass sie ihre Begeisterung und ihr Wissen weitergeben wollte. Seit 2024 ist sie Teil der Swiss Dental Academy. Für sie ist es essenziell, minimal-invasiv und maximal-präventiv zu arbeiten. Die Kombination aus ihrer Erfahrung in der Praxis und ihrer Tätigkeit als Trainerin ermöglicht ihr, ein Höchstmaß an Qualität zu erreichen und weiterzugeben.

Sarah Crow started in the dental industry in 2004. She has earned numerous awards throughout her education and career as a Dental Hygienist. To name a few, Sarah was voted the 2021 “Massachusetts Dental Society, Hygienist of the Year.” And was most recently voted the 2024 “Research Hygienist of The Year” by the Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. Sarah is a recent Past-President, of The Massachusetts Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is also a Senior Executive Consultant for Cellerant Consulting Group and a United States Trainer for The Swiss Dental Academy, in the field of Guided Biofilm Therapy with EMS Dental. She presents educational content both virtually and in-person, to dental professionals across the country. Sarah enjoys working chairside with patients in Salem, MA where she is given the opportunity to exhibit her passion for helping others to improve their oral and overall health.

Patricia Blagic's journey in the dental field is a testament to her dedication and passion for oral health. Starting her career as a dental assistant, she quickly advanced to an expanded duties dental assistant after nine years, before pursuing her degree in dental hygiene. Fueled by a strong commitment to combating periodontal disease and a desire to educate patients, Patricia has consistently pushed herself to excel. In 2016, her office embraced cutting-edge technology by acquiring the Prophylaxis Master, allowing her to enhance patient care and outcomes. By 2022, Patricia's expertise and enthusiasm led her to join EMS as an SDA trainer. There, she became a success coach for the Northeast region of the USA, inspiring others with her knowledge and experience. Recently, she completed the Koi's Hygiene Program, further solidifying her commitment to advancing dental hygiene practices. Dal 2013 collabora come Libero Professionista presso vari sudi odontoiatrici privati in provincia di Rimini (Emilia-Romagna). Nel 2014 vince il Premio Cagidiaco indetto dalla Società Italiana di Parodontolgia (SIdP) con il miglior poster presentato da un Igienista Dentale. Nel 2014 diventa iTOP Teacher specializzandosi nelle tecniche di educazione igienica attraverso il metodo “Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis”. Nel 2018 diventa iTOP Lecturer per l’Italia e l’Europa e da allora tiene corsi nazionali ed internazionali di tecniche iTOP per Studenti, Igienisti Dentali e Odontoiatri. Nel 2024 diventa Trainer per la Swiss Dental Academy.

Jolene Pinder is a dental hygienist based at The Dental Health Spa in Brighton. She qualified as a dental hygienist in the Royal Navy in 2001. After leaving the military she has worked in various practices throughout the UK. Jolene has a special interest in behavioural change and she has used this to inspire and educate fellow dental professionals. She has been a Swiss dental academy trainer since 2013 and teaches in the UK on Guided biofilm therapy. She had articles published on tooth whitening, making hygiene treatment profitable and implant maintenance. Jolene is the Study club director for dental hygienists and therapists for the International team for implantology.
