Pam has an impressive and progressive career in dentistry, spanning over four decades. She began her journey in the field as a dental assistant at the age of 16, a role she held for 16 years. In 2001, she became a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Her commitment to advanced preventative care led her to become licensed as an independent dental hygienist (IPDH) in Maine in 2010. This allowed her to practice in both private settings and her own solo preventive practice. In 2021, Pam established the Searsmont Oral Wellness Center, where she champions her unique approach to optimal preventative care. Her practice has flourished by incorporating cutting-edge technologies like microscopy, laser therapies, salivary diagnostics, and the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) compass. Patients appreciate her laid-back yet informative style, which educates them while delivering patient-focused care. Beyond her practice, Pam is a certified GBT trainer for EMS, a role that enables her to connect with other forward-thinking professionals across the United States. When she's not traveling for her training work, she enjoys her home, family, and friends in Mid-Coast Maine.

Unmittelbar nach Ihrem Abschluss in Deutschland zur Dentalhygienikerin im Jahr 2009 in München an der FA Dent / Aufenthalt an der Ludwig-Maximilian Universität und der FH Deggendorf arbeitet Adina seit 2010 für die Swiss Dental Academy. Sie ist in mehreren Vereinigungen organisiert, z.B. der Deutsche Gesellschaft für Parodontologie e.V., der Gesellschaft für präventive Zahnheilkunde E.V., oder dem Berufsverband der deutschen Dentalhygieniker/ in E.V. BDDH. Sie ist mit der Guided Biofilm Therapie aufgewachsen und unterrichtet mit Leidenschaft an Universitäten, Instituten und in der Zahnarztpraxis. Sie liebt den Austausch mit Menschen, die Lust und Leidenschaft für den Fortschritt haben. Für Sie bedeutet: Prävention – Prophylaxe und Therapie sind in stetiger Bewegung und EMS und die SDA haben einen enorm bedeutenden Anteil daran. Sie schreibt für Fachzeitschriften und ist mit Stolz ein Teil der GBT Fallstudien Veröffentlichung (40+100 Clinical Cases). Sie arbeitet am Patienten und in leitender Funktion in einer großen Zahnarztpraxis in Berlin, ihrer Heimatstadt. "Nel 2016 mi sono laureata presso l'Università degli Studi di Siena con tesi: “La terapia fotodinamica nel trattamento delle mucositi nei pazienti portatori di protesi totali ancorate su impianti”. Durante questi anni ho individuato i miei maggiori ambiti di interesse, focalizzando lo studio sulla terapia Parodontale non chirurgia.

Nel 2018 ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecnico Assistenziali presso l'Università La Sapienza di Roma. Durante questi anni ho ampliato la mia formazione spaziando dal diritto all’economia presentando così una tesi con impronta giuridica dal titolo: “L’igienista dentale tra subordinazione e libera professione”.
Dal 2019 ho svolto il Master di I livello in Igiene Orale ad Indirizzo Parodontale Estetico ed Ortodontico in collaborazione con la Fondazione Istituto Stomatologico Toscano con tesi: “Malattia Parodontale e problematiche sistemiche: una correlazione pericolosa?”.
Nel 2020 ho intrapreso il master di Patologia Orale presso la Dental School di Torino presentando come caso clinico: “Herpes Virus: Manifestazioni Intraorale"". Ho cercato di affinare il mio bagaglio che sentivo carente su tutto ciò che interessava le patologie delle mucose gengivali non indotte da placca batterica.

Ad oggi, sono iscritta regolarmente all’Albo degli Igienisti e faccio parte del mondo EMS dal 2018."

Laureata con lode in Igiene Dentale nel 2019 presso l’Università di Napoli “Federico II”, dove ho poi proseguito gli studi conseguendo la Laurea Magistrale in Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche. Ho inoltre completato il mio percorso accademico con un Master Universitario di I livello in “Gestione della salute orale nel paziente parodontale e Special Needs”. Lavoro come libera professionista presso diversi studi odontoiatrici nelle province di Napoli e Caserta e, dal 2022, collaboro con EMS come GBT Trainer. Credo fortemente nel protocollo GBT, ogni paziente dovrebbe poter vivere un’esperienza positiva, innovativa e confortevole. Nei miei corsi unisco conoscenze scientifiche, tecnica e passione. Ai miei colleghi cerco di trasmettere gli strumenti concreti per trasformare la teoria in pratica e la pratica in eccellenza, in un clima di autentica condivisione.

Faye Donald is a registered dental hygienist currently practicing Guided Biofilm Therapy in the UK.

After graduating from Leeds University in 2001, she went on to complete the NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. Faye received national award recognition in 2013 when she was crowned "Best Hygienist" at the DH&T National Industry Awards, in 2015 when she was crowned "UK’s Dental Hygienist of The Year" and in 2017 when she was again crowned winner of "UK's best hygienist" at the National Oral Health Awards. Faye is also chairperson for the North East BSDHT (British Society for Dental Hygiene and Therapy) where she is actively involved in supporting her peers and driving forwards standards within the dental industry. Faye underwent her training at the Swiss Dental Academy to become a certified SDA trainer in 2016 and has since delivered more than 50 GBT courses to audiences both nationally and internationally on the role of AIRFLOW® and Guided Biofilm Therapy in dental prophylaxis.
