Fabio Angelini si laurea con lode nel 2013 all’Università Alma Mater Studiorum di Bologna, dopo un periodo di perfezionamento trascorso all’estero, in Olanda, per completare la ricerca scientifica finalizzata alla sua tesi di Laurea in Parodontologia. Dal 2013 collabora come Libero Professionista presso vari sudi odontoiatrici privati in provincia di Rimini (Emilia-Romagna). Nel 2014 vince il Premio Cagidiaco indetto dalla Società Italiana di Parodontolgia (SIdP) con il miglior poster presentato da un Igienista Dentale. Nel 2014 diventa iTOP Teacher specializzandosi nelle tecniche di educazione igienica attraverso il metodo “Individually Trained Oral Prophylaxis”. Nel 2018 diventa iTOP Lecturer per l’Italia e l’Europa e da allora tiene corsi nazionali ed internazionali di tecniche iTOP per Studenti, Igienisti Dentali e Odontoiatri. Nel 2024 diventa Trainer per la Swiss Dental Academy.

Mein Name ist Janine Schröter. Ich bin eine erfahrene und leidenschaftliche Dentalhygienikerin, die ihre Berufung zum Beruf gemacht hat.

Ich arbeite in einer Zahnarztpraxis im Herzen von München. Nach meiner Ausbildung zur Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten entwickelte ich schnell die Leidenschaft für die Prophylaxe. Zahlreiche Patienten haben mich während meiner praktischen Tätigkeit motiviert und inspiriert, was man mit einer zielgerichteten und individuellen Mundhygieneinstruktion und -therapie erreichen kann. Um mein Spektrum in den Bereichen der Prophylaxe und Parodontologie zu erweitern, habe ich die Qualifikationen „Zahnmedizinische Fachassistentin“ und „Dentalhygienikerin“ erworben.

Seit Beginn meiner zahnmedizinischen Laufbahn arbeite ich mit den Geräten der Firma EMS. Im Jahr 2018 habe ich die Guided Biofilm Therapy in unserer Praxis etabliert und bin so auf die Swiss Dental Academy aufmerksam geworden. Seit 2019 bin ich nun Teil des SDA-Teams und stolz darauf mein Wissen, meine langjährigen Erfahrungen und meine Begeisterung für die Guided Biofilm Therapy weitergeben zu dürfen.

Lavoro presso lo Studio Dentistico Dott. Alessandro Reale a Teramo, sono una GBT Trainer e opero come Tutor CdL in Igiene Dentale e Guida di Laboratorio del CdLM in Scienze delle Professioni Sanitarie Tecniche Assistenziali presso Università Politecnica delle Marche.

Attualmente studente di dottorato di ricerca in Biomedicina, mi sono laureato in Odontoiatria nel 2016. Sono autore di pubblicazioni scientifiche nazionali ed internazionali, relatore a congressi e vincitore di premi scientifici.

Mi nombre es María, soy de Salamanca, España, tengo 32 años y trabajo como higienista bucodental en la clínica del Dr. Javier Sola Alonso, en Valladolid. Siempre he estado interesada en el cuidado de la salud y después de graduarme en secundaria, decidí realizar una formación profesional de auxiliar de enfermería, lo que posteriormente me llevó a inscribirme en higiene bucodental.

Durante mis estudios, aprendí sobre la importancia de la higiene bucodental y cómo prevenir las enfermedades de la cavidad oral, como la caries y la enfermedad periodontal, también aprendí cómo educar a los pacientes sobre la importancia de una buena higiene oral y cómo mantener sus dientes y encías sanos.

Después de obtener mi título de higienista bucodental, me especialicé en técnicas de profilaxis y en la educación de los pacientes sobre cómo mantener una correcta higiene oral, también trabajé en estrecha colaboración con el dentista de la clínica, para diagnosticar y tratar enfermedades dentales en los pacientes, con el tiempo, me convertí en una higienista líder en mi trabajo y comencé a capacitar a otros higienistas sobre nuestras prácticas de cuidados y atención bucodental y sobre nuevas tecnologías, lo que me llevó a ejercer como GBT trainer para EMS.

Me enorgullece proporcionar una atención personalizada y de alta calidad a mis pacientes, me encanta que adquieran unos buenos hábitos, esto les ayuda a mejorar su salud bucodental y general.

En mi tiempo libre, me gusta asistir a conferencias y seminarios para estar al día sobre las últimas tendencias y tecnologías, también disfruto de la lectura, hago ejercicio y estudio sobre nutrición y dietética.

Leonora Costello is a licensed dental hygienist, educator, and Master of Healthcare Administration candidate dedicated to advancing oral health through innovation, equity, and strategic collaboration. With both an associate and bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene, she blends clinical expertise with a broader public health perspective to drive meaningful change in patient care and professional education. Leonora serves as a Swiss Dental Academy Trainer with EMS Dental, where she partners with clinicians and academic institutions nationwide to implement Guided Biofilm Therapy using the AirFlow Prophylaxis Master device. In addition to her training and consulting work, she provides clinical care at East Carolina University, working directly with underserved populations to reduce disparities and improve access to preventive services.  Currently pursuing her MHA, Leonora is focused on healthcare leadership, process innovation, and sustainable improvements in dental education. Whether she's leading hands-on workshops, mentoring future providers, or building institutional partnerships, she brings energy, empathy, and a commitment to collaborative growth.

Erika Spring is a pioneering force in Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) education, bringing over 35 years of dental industry experience and 27 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist.  Since 2019, she served as an SDA Trainer and Academic Integration Consultant, currently she is the US GBT Education Manager. Spring's most significant achievement came at Coastal Carolina Community College, where she revolutionized dental hygiene education by integrating GBT into the curriculum. Under her leadership, the program graduated the first GBT-certified students in 2021 and became the first academic institution to achieve GBT certification in the United States in 2022—a historic milestone establishing the gold standard for modern dental hygiene education. Her academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She maintains faculty experience from Laramie County Community College and clinical expertise through work with GBT practices, East Carolina University, and expert periodontists. As a certified DISC Behavioral Consultant, she enhances team dynamics and educational outcomes. Spring continues advancing the GBT mission by leading the US training team, developing educational strategies, and mentoring dental professionals nationwide. Her mission centers on preparing tomorrow's dental professionals with today's innovations, fundamentally reshaping dental hygiene practice and elevating patient wellness standards across the profession.

Amanda has a passion for dentistry and in 2008 became one of the first UK Swiss Academy Trainers for EMS. She has given many courses on Piezon technology, Biofilm management and Guided Biofilm therapy. (GBT). Amanda is the Immediate Past President of the British Association of Dental Therapists.

She became a hygienist in 1996 where she qualified from Manchester Dental school and then after spells in Specialist practice and the hospital service, taught Dental Hygiene at Sheffield dental school and then moved to Kings College Dental Institute in London.

Amanda has lectured nationally and internationally and talks on various topics. These include :- Behavioural change, Periodontal screening, Implant maintenance, fluoride varnish application for nurses, Impression taking, Biofilm theory/ GBT and Caries risk assessment.

Amanda completed and published research on the subject of Nursing Assistance for the Dental Hygienist in 2011. She completed a tutor’s conversion to Dental therapy in 2012 and became President elect of the British Association of Dental therapists in 2015.

She is an MSC student at King’s College London reading Advanced Minimal Intervention Dentistry.

Amanda presently works part time for Leicester Community dental services as a Therapist, treating anxious children and Special needs patients. She also works for Bupa Dental care in Stamford, Lincolnshire and lectures part time.

Amanda sits on the Bupa Dental Care Clinical advisory board and is a member of the BSDHT and BADT.

Ho seguito il Corso di perfezionamento in Laser e Nuove Tecnologie nel distretto facciale all'Università di Genova, il Corso di parodontologia SIdP a Firenze e dal 2012 e opero come consulente presso lo studio Gian Vittorio Bassi nelle sedi di Genova e Masone.

Kayley trained at Portsmouth Dental Academy in 2006 alongside Kings College London students, attaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. After graduating, she moved to South London, working in two private dental practices, before returning home to Poole in June 2011. Kayley is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and keeps up to date with the latest research in dental hygiene care. Additionally, Kayley continues to grow her knowledge in Dental Implants by supporting the ADI Team Congress and EAO (European Association for Osseointegration) Congress. She loves working with paediatric patients and gently helping anxious patients through their treatment, taking a holistic approach and fundamentally placing the prevention of disease and individual care of patients above all else.

Laureato in odontoiatria e protesi dentaria nel 2019, esercito la professione in provincia di Foggia dedicandomi prevalentemente alla parodontologia e all’odontoiatria adesiva.

Mi nombre es Erik Regidor y soy licenciado en Odontología y especialista en Periodoncia e Implantes por la Universidad del País Vasco. Desde entonces me dedico en exclusiva a Periodoncia e Implantes en PerioCentrum Bilbao. Adicionalmente participo en proyectos de investigación relacionados con mi campo dado que formo parte de los grupos de investigación Arrow Development y ThinkingPerio Research. Fruto de ello estoy actualmente realizando mi doctorado enfocado en el tratamiento quirúrgico de la peri-implantitis. Esto me ha llevado a participar en publicaciones científicas a nivel nacional e internacional dándome la oportunidad desde hace unos años a impartir cursos de formación. Entre otros, soy Trainer de EMS desde el año 2020 y tengo el honor de participar en proyectos de formación tanto para odontólogos como para higienistas.
