Demonstrating an early passion for patient care—and encouraged by her employer-dentist to advance her education—she earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Clayton State University in 2004 With experience in both public and private healthcare settings, Yemia has provided care to patients representing a wide range of cultures, religions, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. She currently practices in a multidisciplinary setting specializing in periodontics and prosthodontics. Michelle Steiner BSDH, RDH has been dedicated to advancing oral health and supporting fellow dental professionals since beginning her career in 1995. After earning her CDA, she completed her dental hygiene degree in 2000 and spent 24 of the last 25 years as the sole RDH in a periodontal practice, where she developed a deep passion for periodontal care, patient relationships, and clinical excellence. She completed her BSDH in 2025 from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with an emphasis in education. Spring's most significant achievement came at Coastal Carolina Community College, where she revolutionized dental hygiene education by integrating GBT into the curriculum. Under her leadership, the program graduated the first GBT-certified students in 2021 and became the first academic institution to achieve GBT certification in the United States in 2022—a historic milestone establishing the gold standard for modern dental hygiene education. Her academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. She maintains faculty experience from Laramie County Community College and clinical expertise through work with GBT practices, East Carolina University, and expert periodontists. As a certified DISC Behavioral Consultant, she enhances team dynamics and educational outcomes.
